The staff are attentive and friendly. The lobby and room were lovely. The only problem is the door handle in the bathroom - the latch is not working properly. I will let them know at the front desk.

I had a terrible experience. First and foremost, when I purchased my stay I selected the stay with double bed at a higher cost so it will include the breakfast. Little did I know that when I asked the front desk associate what time is breaks I was told that was not part of my package. I considered this false advertisement from Expedia. When I tried to call Expedia and what I got was a robot. Then on my first night at the Madison it was noticeable the AC was not working. It took the second night and my 5th call to front desk when I got someone to get it fix. It was 1:30am and the technician was still trying to fix the AC. Overall, terrible experience and will never go back if I had to pay to stay there.

Everyone at the Madison was so helpful and nice and friendly and even joyful. The hotel is immaculate, and the room was great! I was, at first, surprised that there wasn’t any in-room coffee, but (1) guests can request a coffee maker if they want one (2) just heading downstairs to grab a free, delicious, already made morning coffee is easier and less messy. So, it was a win! I appreciate that the elevator requires a room key to operate. The hotel is walkable to DuPont Circle and all of the fun DC sights. I hope to stay here again.

It's a hotel at a superb location. Walkable to almost every attraction, bars and restaurants. Only thing I didn't like is they have snacks and refrigerators with sensors which if you even touch or move without consuming it gets charged to your bill. For a hotel of this reputation it doesn't even have a microwave or fridge in the room. It also doesn't have a coffee maker or complimentary coffee even cheaper motels like Super 8 have these facilities. I hope you look in to these small intricate things which sometimes matter a lot.
