"We really enjoyed our stay at Whispering Pines, this property is set in a very quiet and secluded neighborhood near Lake Watauga. Its very cozy inside with multiple fireplaces and enough rooms to spread out when visiting with large groups. The hot tub is located in a perfect spot to provide some privacy. We spent a warm afternoon outside grilling and making s'mores in the fire pit. The house is located about half an hour from a proper grocery store in Elizabethton so stock up while your out. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Tennessee. "

"we enjoyed four days in this very nice and well appointed home on the side of the mountain. Only downside - a neighbor somewhere quite close seemed to be using a rifle or shotgun each evening for nearly an hour - frightening and unpleasant!"
