Room was dated. Toilet kept running and shower leaked. Toilet paper holder was removed and thrown in a corner. Towels were paper thin. Beds were uncomfortable. Furniture was outdated. No full length mirror. On the outside they had what looked like an old basketball court with four couches in each corner that the cushions were wet from raining each day. Never staying there again.

I would never stay at this hotel again. The room smelled so musty and moldy we could not stand it. We went to the store and bought air freshener and opened the window even though it had no screen because the smell was so bad. We could not turn on the AC because it smelled so bad we could not breath. When I complained to the front desk all they said back was "OK". The phone did not work, the fire pit in the courtyard did not work, and the smell and uncleanliness was unbearable. It's really a shame because if not for this smell and lack of staff caring the hotel would be fine. I would never recommend or stay here myself and am glad I got out without getting sick from the mold that was obviously everywhere.

Everything in this hotel was very good. There’s only one thing in the room that we didn’t like and that was temperature control. It was really old fashioned and it wasn’t working the way it’s supposed to work. Everything else was updated and new and clean. Really enjoyed the breakfast cafe at the hotel. Couldn’t try the hotel restaurant for dinner as it was closed for sunday and Monday which is weird.

Stay not as expected
Our stay was not very pleasant . We booked two rooms . Out one room was ok . The bathroom drain was clogged in our other room and water spilled on the floor. The staff did help us and clear the drain soon but then there were other issues . The enterancw light was flickering on the room . The microcars had no plate . The heating in our room was not working . Finally the next day they changed our room at request and the other room was good but in evening when we went to take bath , there was no body soap and nobody there in household to give us any . Also we requested cleaning of the other room and it was never done . We booked the hotel after great reviews but were disappointed.

Pros: Price was decent for the hotel, safe area, relatively quiet, relatively clean, easy parking. Con: We had a lot of gnats in our room, pillow was stained, walls are thin; can hear people in hallway and doors slamming; furniture and condition of hotel could use updating. No fan in bathroom; no screen on window so you can’t air the room without risk of insects flying in. Overall: Price is good for the location. Other hotels at the same price point are in worse condition unfortunately.

Nice breakfast buffet. The hotel was very quiet, especially since it was crowded, as the State Fair was going on. Stores within walking distance. Would stay here again.
