We really enjoyed the location and friendly staff. Areas of improvement: In need of a deep clean (layer of dust on ceiling fan, fuzz growth on frying pan handle, no tea towels or paper towel supplied) This is an older building with extremely creaky floors above you (if you’re on the ground floor).

The front door displays an excessive number of spider webs, and the couch in the sitting area appears to be in poor condition, with noticeable stains on the upholstery.

Disappointed. Happy to be inside the park but for the price i paid -highly disappointed! Not enough towels, no coffee supplies or cups for the coffee that was there, lamp beside the bed with nowhere to plug it, very very loud. Neighbors yelling and you could hear every conversation. Stains all over the entry...just run down other than the room itself.

Exterior of the property is in bad need of renovation. Deck boards rotting & paint peeling. Carpets inside lobby & stairs very dirty. Room was tiny for 2 beds. Bathroom was upgraded in room which was good. Floors creaked every time you walked & bed had noisey springs that squeaked with slightest movement. I would not stay here again.

Good budget option in Waterton. Clean unit and friendly staff. Close to all amenities within town. Property is older with some small reno’s in unit, but lack of attention to details such as huge gaps in vinyl plank flooring and overall noisy conditions (ie. lack of sound buffer between units) makes me rate this property as average.

We had a very good stay at CML. The room was comfortable and bathroom updated. Loved it had a Keuring in the room. Great location in Waterton as well.

At first glance, Crandell Mountain Lodge looks a bit sad. The deck needs painting, and the entry areas need refurbishing, however, the rooms we saw have been renovated. I didn't realize when I made my booking that the bathroom can only be accessed through the bedroom (this is the case in every Unit) We were a group of 2 couples, and this lay-out did not work for us, so one couple had to pay for an additional room. We were in Unit 7, which had 2 bedrooms, but the queen bedroom attached to the bathroom was so small it was a tight squeeze for an average size adult to get around the foot and side of the bed - that room was really only suitable for one adult or child. When we expressed our disappointment to the Management that the descriptions of their rooms don't indicate that the bathrooms are all en-suite, they obviously cared about our experience and wanted to make it right.

Ruined our trip! Room not as pictured!

Don’t book here! We were excited to spend a couple of days there. So disappointed when we arrived upstairs to our room. No tv, no air conditioning, could not open window for cross ventilation, very small and claustrophobic room. We asked to upgrade, the staff was unsympathetic and said they would not help us as we booked through a third party. We decided that we could not stay, so we checked out right away. No refunds! Lost our money for 2 days. Ruined our trip, as we returned home. So disappointed!

Unacceptable

Pictures did not reveal that in order to get to the bathroom you had to go through one of the bedrooms. Felt like I was going downhill when going into the bathroom. The outside was dirty and had pain chipping and wood rotting. Also, the inside was not clean. Found a wad of hair next to couch. For the price some snacks or something would have been nice. And wash our dishes....really. Who knows how the last person washed. Gross.

Smell of sewage in the bathroom. Bathroom sink is chipped and worn. Windows are dirty. Rubble on walkway entrance makes it difficult for seniors to walk safely.

We had a very comfortable room. It was cool despite no A/C and extremely quiet yet we were meters from a main thoroughfare. The checkin clerk was pleasant and professional. The location is outstanding.
