This is the second time we stayed at the Hampton in Wausau. Both times were very nice. The rooms, public spaces and grounds are very clean and inviting. The staff is extra friendly. Attention to details like something as simple as cheerful messages written on the peels of bananas at breakfast is noticed and appreciated. I would highly recommend this hotel.

It is not unique, but is a quality, well cared for hotel. We enjoyed the hot tub and hot breakfast. The omelettes were especially good. We definitely would stay again.

Spent one night in Wausau, WI and Highly recommend. Room was meticuously clean, bathrooms pure white and shiny from sink to towels to shower curtain. Everything is new. The staff are exceptionally friendly as well.

The property and rooms are excellent. The staff wonderful. My only issue is the wheelchair accessibility. It wasn’t great. The accessible room was small and hard to maneuver around the furniture. We had two rooms and the standard room was the same. Aside from a grab bar in the shower. The pool has lifts for the hot tub and pool, but they are extremely hard to get to due to the lack of width on the pool deck. We made it work and have a teen in a wheelchair, but someone more independent might have a really hard time. Other than the not great ADA, the hotel and staff were wonderful. I’d stay there again for a night.
