There simply aren’t enough nice things to say about the fabulous staff here. We had stayed a couple of days before Christmas and they had had a little Santa in the room stating that my children had found Santa so they could come pick wrapped gifts from the lobby. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was lovely and again the staff just makes the place.

This property is extremely dirty. Most hallway rugs appear that they haven’t been cleaned in years. Our room had trash on the floor and a dirty sock. The only positive is that the staff were friendly, and the breakfast and coffee was good. Cleanliness is the most important to us and if i didn’t have so many in our group we would have left and stayed somewhere else.

Good for a overnight stop
We stayed there after driving through Shenandoah national Park. The hotel is convenient to the park South entrance, it's decently clean, breakfast had a fairly good variety. The beds were comfortable. The man working breakfast and the lady when we checked out we're both rather friendly, the lady working the counter when I checked in was maybe having a bad day or something, but she was quite rude. Overall a good stay for the price. Would stay there again

Overall was clean and comfortable. While I appreciate the "green" status of the establishment, for the price I expected better amenities in the room. One small shampoo, conditioner and 2 small dove bars of soap were all that were supplied in the bathroom. We typically bring our own supplies, but splurging for a suite at what was rated 8.6/10 on expedia, we were a bit disappointed.

Not appropriate for senior citizens due to lack of update to bathrooms - was greeted at the entrance with a baby crawling in the middle of the floor and no receptionist - dirty carpets, staff unresponsive (except for one person) to requests. 4-day stay and trash was never emptied and towels not replaced.
