First of all the listing says it offers truck parking, it does not….if you’re in a semi truck or RV you have to park across the road at the fuel station and walk across. Second, we booked the room from the app and when we checked in was told there were no clean double bed rooms so was forced to get a different room with a king and a roll away cot….that was ridiculous so ended up booking a second room only to find it was dirty and had FLEAS in the bed! Needless to say we will never stay at Motel 6 in Mineral Wells, TX ever again!

Worst motel 6 i have ever stayed at. For price being charged over 115 a night. One there is no protective casibg on mattress so i would say that is placing a welcome sign for bed bugs. 2 they do not provide any zero toiletries, so need some shampoo forgot your toothpaste need body wash good luck. 3 bed and pillows are horrible. All 6 of the pillows as we requested more were lumpy and rough felt as sleeping on a bawled up beach towel. Room key had to be activated multiple times while there. Only plus is staff was nice.

The hotel was as dirty as they get and smelled like a 50 year old smoking bar lounge, definitely not a non-smoking property. The elevator smelled like a sewer. Should have read the reviews before going instead of trusing the ratings. The rooms were disqusting, no mattress in the sofa sleeeper making it unusable to sit on, sheets were ripped and extremely old and spotted with stains. Gnats everywhere. The pool and hot tub were not advertised as closed though locked and closed. Pool had stagnant dark green molded water, very unsanitary and a nasty haven for bugs. There was no snack bar/deli, breakfast of any kind as advertised. WE WILL DEFINITELY NEVER STAY AT A HOTEL 6 AGAIN! Always a bad experience, never trust the advertising, ratings, or comments as this is definitely a 0 star hotel.

Common areas not very clean. Back entry by the pool was unlocked which made me uncomfortable. The room was pretty clean, but it took forever to get hot water in the shower and the water pressure was terrible.

The floors and flat surfaces weren’t clean. All the furniture was awful .. marred, veneer peeling off, chair arms worn out, and large stain on sofa. Something disgusting on the walls. Stay was two night and housekeeping didn’t enter the room for towel or making the bed. Upon arrival there was a dirty hand towel over the shower rod. The keycard would only open the door once before it would have to be reauthorized by the front desk. Outside there were empty water bottles and a 1/2 empty meat sauce jar near the front door. (I wish I had taken pictures but I didn’t think about it)

A terrible experience
The room was horrible. The bottoms of the dresser was rotten(wood missing) shower curtain was barely having in by 2 rings. The couch had a stain the size of a plate. It rained & the window/wall leaked in a huge puddle was by the air conditioning. Tried to tell them at the front desk but there was no one to be found. Was charged 2 times and still have not received a refund.

Overall a good experience
For just a quick overnight stop, it wasn’t bad at all. Nicely priced and close to restaurants. The room for the most part was clean. The ac unit was a bit on the noisy side. Overall a pleasant stay. I will be using again often.

The photos online are cooperate photos(staff told me). My room was not only hazardous but very dirty. They attempted to move me to another room just to see they were even worse...i did not stay the night and idt anyone should for that matter.

Having one employee do everything isn’t very professional. Granted she was doing everything for everyone as quickly as she could and with a smile on her face. Every time we left our room it took 20 minutes to get back in. The door lock wasn’t working. The lady from the desk had to help us a lot. She was amazing. Honestly we had to use our towels to soak up the leaks from the window that were running allover the floor everywhere. The shower had massive amounts of long black hair allover everything. Even on our linens. And our fridge leaked as well so woke up to water running out across to the bed.

When walking into the motel there was a couch in the lobby that should have been taken to the dump. The elevator was dirty. When entering our room the couch in it was in the same condition as the couch in the lobby. I went to call the desk for a wake-up call and the phone was unplugged. Had to pull out the nightstand and it was absolutely filthy behind it. No Kleenex provided. There was tar on the floor in the lobby. The vanity for the sink was so tall we could hardly bend far enough to brush our teeth. I would have left but would have lost my money to do so. The beds were hard and tall. We are of average heighth! Would not stay there again.
