The road to Rainforest edge is not good - and you can miss it. It's only partly tarmac, and that pitted. It's uphill, winding, and goes through a tea factory. But when you get there... It's like a medieval castle: great boulders below, tiled roofs above, and an infinity pool looking out over the mountains. Large comfortable rooms with efficent fans, and a bathroom and sitting space looking out over the valley. Dining under a timbered roof open to the air, with excellent food. The chef doesn't have to try - there's no competition within reach, but he's imaginative and clever - a range of delicious not-too-hot curries, mostly. The only complaint; wifi only available in the dining area, and it makes old-fashioned dial-up modems seem quick.
