Wells Xmas Market Stay 2024
Old hotel with character. Recent new management, very friendly staff with lovely craft beers on offer. Didn't try the food, but most tables were reserved, so a good sign !

Quite a nice place brilliantly sited with extremely helpful and friendly staff and the bar is lovely. I can't rate it higher was that there was a loud, electric motor noise in my room (4). I couldn't get to sleep and phoned the bar. They said it was a kitchen fridge but couldn't move me. I asked in desperation if they had any earplugs and, rather suspiciously, they did. They worked well. Breakfast room is also weird, but breakfast good.

Fantastic accommodation, full of character, cosy bar, very friendly helpful staff. Perfect location for everything to see. Best full English breakfast we ever had. Great value. Highly recommended. We loved our stay at the White Hart.

Pub staff are super helpful and friendly. The WiFi in the guest room and breakfast room is totally inaccessible. Be sure to get your WIfi from the Pub area.

The hotel was good as was the breakfast, ideal for our needs. Parking however was a problem. Nearest carpark was a 15 minute walk away and no way of paying for a continuous stay, requiring a trip to the carpark at 9am to top up the payment. Not so bad on a dry day, but in the rain….?

Perfect for a couple of nights visiting family
No issues at all, very clean, easy check-in, only slight issue is the wi-fi is very hit and miss, but then its an old building, was only an issue as my mobile provider thats between 2 & 4 has next to no signal in Wells, but that a Wells thing I was aware of. Also there is no parking at the hotel but there are various car parks around. Will definitely consider again next time we are down in Wells.

This was an old pub with accomodation and very atmospheric. Staff could not do enough and were very helpful. Food was glorious and portions very large. Breakfast was cooked to order. Room was very clean with ample tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary toiletries. Very close to the centre of Wells which was ideal for sightseeing and shopping.
