Fall in love with Wellsboro as you walk downtown with the gas lit lanterns on Main Street or enjoy God’s creation as you hike, fish, snowmobile or kayak in beautiful Tioga County. Great for families.
This vacation home is rented throughout the year! We do accept monthly rentals for traveling nurses and Doctors and we are within walking distance of the hospital.
What a beautiful property this is! You won't want to leave! They say it is all about location, location, location. Well this house has just that. The house was built in 1840 and is in the historic part of down town Wellsboro. If only this house could talk and tell us some stories. I was told that at one time this house was a carriage stop and also a post office. Now it is time for you to make some memories here that will last you for years to come.
You can leave your car parked in the driveway and walk down town or bring your outdoor games as the yard across the bridge is huge. Our kitchen is beautiful, and well equipped for dining in. The dining room is bright and has a table that seats 8 for dining, socializing and games in the evening. There is a beautiful closed in back porch to relax in and a comfortable living room with a smart TV. We offer a master bedroom on the main floor with a bathroom and shower just off the bedroom. There are 3 additional bedrooms upstairs with a bathroom, tub and shower. You do need to provide your own sheets and towels.
This is a perfect place for couples to gather and spend a weekend together. It is spacious enough to accommodate 4 couples, cozy enough for just 2, or great for a ladies week end away. This is an old house and has a step up to the dining room and a step down to the kitchen, living room and foyer. There is a new deck outback to sit and enjoy the sound of the creek as it trickles by. But please, do not walk or sit on the stone wall. An outdoor fire pit is in the back yard for roasting hotdogs or relaxing in the evening. We do not supply the firewood but we will have the information for you to call and have wood delivered to the guest house if needed. Wi-Fi and Dish T.V. is set up for those rainy days.
Are you a baseball fan…The Little League World Series in Williamsport is about 45minutes to an hour away.
If you would rather not do any basic cleaning during your stay and when departing, our guest house is not for you. We expect you to keep things clean during your stay and leave the guest house as you found it. Our cleaning people will do all the final cleaning. We just ask that while you are there and when departing you show respect and courtesy to our property. If you feel like you can not do this, please do not book with us.

This is a lovely home! It’s beautiful inside and out and is just at the end of the main street of Wellsboro. We could walk to the local shops and restaurants. Wellsboro is an adorable little town. The house was very clean and as advertised. We would stay there again.

Great Extended Stay in Wellsboro!
House has a lot of charm, and conveniences. Close to town so you can walk down the beautiful upper Main Street into town. We felt very much at home and the owner, Marlene is very easy to communicate with. She was exceptional in all aspects! Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time in Wellsboro. The Quaint & Cozy Guest House on Main is a definite must if you are looking for a nice getaway or like us, we were there because our son was getting married. From the time I found the home on Vrbo til the time we checked out, we had such a great experience. The home is very beautiful and is very spacious. College Orientation Trip
We were in search of a nice home in planning our trip out to Mansfield University. Few people told us about Wellsboro area being we are not familiar with area being 5 hours away. We are so glad we took advice and found this beautiful, quaint and cozy home. We absolutely love the location of this house as it’s in walking distance to down town amenities. Plenty of bedrooms to accommodate family and all essentials needed in kitchen should you choose to cook. Has nice cozy back porch and big bonus is the back deck sits right above nice stream where you can relax and enjoy nice cup coffee in early morning enjoying calming sounds. We were in seek of home away from home as our daughter will be attending Mansfield for next 4 years and we have found it. We look forward to many more stays. Thanks Marlene.

Great House in Quaint town
Wellsboro, PA near the PA Grand Canyon is a great spot for outdoor activities as well as good shops, restaurants... I highly recommend checking out the area. This house is one of the original houses built shortly after the town's founding. Great house in great location on the Main Street.

Loved having a driveway to park off street and take a hairy walk to downtown Wellsboro. Short drive to Ski Sawmill which was great for our winter weekend! Quick, helpful communication from our host when I forgot some key items for our stay. We would definitely stay in this home again!

I planned a sister’s vacation and choose this home primarily for the location. A short stroll along Main Street to shops and restaurants. The house was beautiful and comfortably furnished. One of our favorites
We have stayed at quite a few B&Bs and this is definitely one of our favorites! The spacious house has “old house charm” with all the modern conveniences (Internet, TV and appliances all worked great). I loved the simple and tasteful decor, especially the beautiful mural in the foyer of winter in Wellsboro. The kitchen was very well stocked. The living room and bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. Although you are on a (sometimes) busy road, the back deck is quiet and peaceful. And it’s a lovely stroll to downtown. The owner responded quickly to questions and was very helpful. We hope to be back soon!
