Upon checking in I was inquiring if the room had a bathtub and all the staff member could say was, “I don’t know”. I went up to the room and as I came back down to leave and I told him, “unfortunately there is not tub”, he said, “oh, okay”. There was hair in the shower and the ice machine was broke

Price gouging backfires.
we stayed for state hockey weekend in West Bend. The hotel was pretty good. They were doing some bathroom remodeling and it was really dusty throughout the entire hotel. we paid over $200 a night. I wish the air quality had been a bit better and the bathroom hadn’t been so dusty. The breakfast was really mediocre. The service was OK definitely overpaid for this one and they took advantage of Hockey weekend. After they fix things up, it should be back up to Hampton Inn. I have to say I’m just a bit disappointed.
