This is an old-school motel and has had some remodeling but is not up to most standards. Linens were clean, beds comfortable. Not fancy and we just needed one night to rest, so it was reasonable and comfortable. Host was very pleasant and view of the river also nice. A great historic pub down the road was welcome for supper.

Old and dingy place. Water was brown had to let shower run for 10 minutes before it cleared. Room had an old musty smell. Expected a little more due to price and rating of 8.5

Second Stay
This is the second time staying here. We love the simplicity of the place, small motel, retro/industrial style, very clean. We also love the scenery of the area. The motel is in a remote area, so a snack bar / dining area for breakfast would be ideal. It is very far off the interstate, but worth the trip. The mattresses could use an update in room 4, but comfortable enough for a night.

Its a beautiful place. Manager and staff were very helpful. Only place I know that sales water and pop at a reasonable price. I would stay again without a doubt.
