Glacier Bear Cabin
The cabin was in great condition. Everything worked just fine. Location was perfect. Finding the cabin took a little time. Turn into the parking lot at Eddie’s Cafe, head down just a bit — cabin on right side. Cabin was well stocked with hiking gear, but we preferred to use our own gear. Did use their bear spray though. Only saw black bears, no grizzlies The bed was very comfortable. The cabin was very peaceful. Don was extremely helpful, and organized in preparing our trip. We would love to stay here again. Did a lot of driving - Going to the sun road, Logan’s Pass, St Mary, Many Glacier, Two Medicine, North Fork - Polebridge/Bowman Lake. Need to wake up early to secure parking spaces at the trailheads. example, arrived at Logan’s Pass at 6am. Glacier National Park is incredible - did so many great hikes & spied so many wildlife. Perfect location I’m perfect park
Glacier National Park is a must see. And to choose your home base, look no further. Easy access to all of the beautiful scenery on the west side of the park and conveniently located close to going to the sun road to connect you to the east side of the park. And Lake McDonald is right out your door! Puls you get all the fun shops and restaurants of Apgar when you aren’t exploring. Cabin is nicely appointed and has everything you need. Don’t pass it up!

Amazing stay
If you are thinking about visiting Glacier National Park this is the place to stay, don’t delay in booking. The kayaks, standup paddle boards and the e-bikes oh what fun. It was also the little things backpacks, hiking poles, bearspray, bug spray, and sunscreen. We traveled from the East Coast and did not have to think about any of those things. What a treat to come back from a long day of hiking to all the comforts of home, the kitchen was stocked with everything you’ll need and the cabin is so clean and comfortable. All of Dons suggestions about the area and things to do was a bonus. He was an amazing host and communication was top-notch. It’s a great location and we will be back.

Wonderful cabin with loads of amenities
This cabin is perfect inside. Wonderfully decorated and very clean. The screened in porch is lovely to enjoy the outdoors bug-free. It is in very central location. Close to everything, and loaded with amenities. We enjoyed the kayaks, only a few mins walk to the lake. The bikes were great too as the bike path is right out front the cabin. We loved the animal information session put on by park service right across the street at the nature center. So much to do in this location. There is a gift shop, restaurant and ice cream shop only 2 doors down. The only down side, is the location is very busy because of all there is to do there. During our stay the restaurant was building a 2 story addition and construction noises were heard from 630am to 530pm, which was challenging for us to relax. If you're looking for a place to be very busy and have everything at your fingertips, this is an ideal place. If you're looking for a secluded place for peace and quiet, it may not be a great fit.

Spectacular cabin! Better than we expected. Very well stocked, the kitchen was full of everything you could need! We loved sitting on the screened porch, making s’mores around the fire pit after a steak dinner on the grill. The distance to Lake McDonals was beyond convenient. Communication couldn’t have been better and the cabin was so clean! If you want to be in the park this is where you want to be!

Family Fest 2021
Sisters from west, south, and east met for a week in Glacier and found this wonderful cottage owned by Crystal and Chuck. It was feet from Lake McDonald and we made sure to put the SUPs and kayaks to good use daily. The cottage was very well stocked with spices and condiments and paper goods. We just brought real food. We ate breakfast there daily, made sandwiches for a lunch hiking stop, and always had dinner from the propane grill. The firepit was lit and surrounded by the 6 of us every night. The hosts could not have been more hospitalable and we could not have had a better time together.

Amazing Lake McDonald cabin
This rental lived up to all the hype, it is in a simply perfect location and this cabin had everything you could need and more to enjoy the Lake and the western side of the park. The ability to use bikes, paddleboards and kayaks as well as all the hiking gear was a huge plus. We had a great stay for 3 nights exploring the great hikes of the Western half of Going to the Sun Road from here. Highly recommend!

Lucky Home Right in GNP
This is such a cute little lake home right in the thick of things on the west side of Glacier! So cool to have a house inside a National park! The outdoor netting around the deck was AMAZING! You can sit outside well into the evening with no bugs bothering you. We loved it! It’s a cozy space with just the right amount of decor. We didn’t need to borrow any of the outdoor toys but they looked in great condition. We fished/swam in the river behind house. It was clear and refreshing. We played at the picnic area near Apgar campground 5 minutes down road b/c it was less crowded than in town (there are also awesome swim beaches along Going to Sun road…maybe 10 minutes away). WiFi worked well. Kitchen seemed good (although we ate at Eddies Cafe 100 yards away for any meals). TV worked great for the one evening when we needed down time. Neighbors and store staff seemed all very friendly. Parking was so easy and convenient. We wish we owned a house in Glacier! So lucky!

Perfect in Every Way
We travel a lot, and have stayed in many properties, but this little home in Apgar Village was by far the best stocked place we've ever stayed. There were bicycles, kayaks, paddle boards, hiking poles and backpacks, bear spray, household items, and more! I only wish we had more time here to take advantage of everything. The home was clean and in a great location. I would definitely want to stay here again.
