Perfect Getaway

Cozy Clean mountain House
This house was the cleanest house I have rented. It made my husband and I feel right at home. There were plenty of seating areas inside and out. The house was stocked with everything we needed. Rick was a great host and very communicative.

Great Holiday Getaway
This home was perfect for our family weekend trip. It was clean, had plenty of room for us, and was conveniently-located close to Hunter Mountain and local restaurants. Rick was easy to get in touch with and was very responsive. The family especially enjoyed sitting in the hot tub as the snow fell.

Perfect stay
We stay at this property every year. It’s in a perfect private location and has a hot tub. We brought our dog so the enclosed deck was perfect. Hunter only 15 minutes away and hiking and west kill brewery not too far down the road. The house is spacious and clean we will be back next year!

We loved our stay at Ricks place! We went after our wedding to get away and unwind for a couple days. The house was great! Lovely view, hot tub, plenty of space and things to do. It was exactly what we needed and wanted. We were sad to leave and were talking immediately about when we could return to take advantage of the location since we didn’t do much exploring this stay

Fun Birthday
We went just for the 3 day weekend. Our host was nice enough to set up a birthday surprise. Complete with table cloth, signs and other fun stuff. Sadly it rained the whole time. But luckily we still enjoyed the hot tub and the other fun games and activities available at the house. We also drove through the countryside and admired the changing leaves and the nearby falls. The brewpub up the road was wonderful too. With live music and a roasting fire. Even our pup was welcome. Turned out to be a lovely weekend despite the weather.

The door to the basement was broken at the hinge that made going in and out of the basement challenging. There is a window IN the shower. The hot tub did not have lights that we could find. Overall just an eh stay

Keurig Machine & 12 Cup Coffee Pot Huge Fridge Large Dinner Table Adequate Dinner Wear Game Room ---> Foosball, Pool, Air-Hockey, Ring Toss Wall Game, Corn Hole Game Fire Pit Hot Tub Coi/Frog Pond - We Fed them Daily! Awesome River Spot Pull Off in Lexington - 10 minute ride. Bring Your Beach Chairs and Sit in the Clean Flowing River - Our Puppy loved it!!! ( FYI - NO Pic-Nic Tables) KAATERSKILLS FALLS is a Must! There is an Upper Level Access Rd Called Laurel House Rd - Closer to the Top - Short Walk to the Falls with a Breathtaking View!, (.6 of a mile) YOU HAVE TO GO!!!! My 2 Son's and a girlfriend (Ages 27, 28, 29) Hiked Up the Whole Thing - They Were QUITE SORE! (Lots of Large Stone Steps.) FYI Get there EARLY as the Lot Fills up Quickly. CONS - House is Very Close to the Road, However - Hardly much traffic at all, it is a private road. Blind Driveway - But you Can Hear the Cars from Quite a Distance in Both Directions. The Air Hockey Game was Busted on the Sides.😥 River Across the Street - FORGET IT, Unless Your Super Athletic and Ambitious! Couch is NOT Comfortable. No K-Cups Provided. Small Bedrooms - ALL 3. Tub was Hard to Get In/Out

Peaceful location to relax
Peaceful relaxing stay in a beautiful area with all the amenities you need , This place had Everything!!! TV in every room, Alexa to play music, Hi speed internet, games , Hot tub , deck with lots of chairs and even a grilling table , fully stocked kitchen , condiments, I could go on and on ! Books Dvds you get the idea . Definitely the best Vacation rental in the Catskills ! Love this house and will definitely stay again even had a Frog Pond

Amazing getaway from it all with spectacular views and lots of stuff to do and relax
This way an amazing getaway to chase last snow of the season. The place is secluded and close enough to everything. You don’t event have to leave the place if you want - you have a huge terrace with a beautiful Mountain Views, hot tub, jacuzzi, games, grill and welcoming home inside. We will be back in no time ti explore spring and summer in Catskills.

Great Location for Ski Trip
An amazing place to stay for a ski trip. The house is close to both Windham and Hunter Mtn (about 15-20 min to either). Rick was super responsive and the house had everything to make our stay comfortable!

Better than the photos
House is being upgraded and looks better in person than the photos indicate (as of April 1). Has a half bath that comes in handy. Really liked the games, and the tv has all the apps in case you’re stuck inside. Hot tub is pretty sweet.

We had a great ski trip at The Catskill Mountain Retreat! The house is much nicer then the pics! The game room was perfect and the hot tub was a hit. It was very clean and the bedrooms were cozy and cute. We will definitely rent again in the future!

Truly a Catskills retreat
This house has everything you could want in an upstate house! We were a group of 6 and 2 dogs and had more than enough room. The half bathroom recently put in def helps with a bigger group, so that was a nice surprise. The game room in the garage is pretty awesome with a pool table foosball air hockey and corn hole: So many activities. Although it is in the garage there is a nice extra heater down there for winter. There are three bedroom. A little small but perfect for a group that plans to hang out in the common areas and enjoy joy the house! The deck in the summer looks like it would be pretty awesome but def a good amount of snow on the ground. Took a walk up the backside of property which was good workout in the snow. We used the jacuzzi once after a day of snowboarding and it was pretty awesome. Kitchen is fully stocked w coffee maker and kuerig machine. Wi-Fi worked well and nice tv w electric fireplace. Rick was easy to communicate with and answered all questions. There is also a new kitchen with a beautiful large farm sink and brand new fridge. Fully stocked kitchen including water fountain for drinking water.

The house is in a very quiet area, 20 minutes to the first grocery. Rick answered promptly to every questions. We were 7 people (2 families) plus 2 dogs. The house is not perfect but totally honest for the price. The basement has a lot of games, the kids called it “the arcade” and enjoyed it very much! The hut tub is great! The kitchen area is brand new, plenty of utensils, pots and tools in good condition. The barbecue works good as well. The couch is new, huge and very comfy. The beds and pillows are comfortable as well. The Belleayre ski center is 20 minutes away. We definitely recommend this place!

Secluded getaway
This home was so comfortable and well equipped for our weekend stay. The owner, Rick, is super nice and available if you need him. The bedrooms were all good sizes and the bed that we slept in was so incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was just recently renovated and it made our stay that much better! The hot tub right by the back door was perfect to warm up in and watch the stars. We also brought our 2 small dogs and there was plenty of room to walk them around the property. If you’re looking for privacy, this is the place! Didn’t see another soul the whole time. We can’t wait to come back!

Relaxing weekend getaway
We absolutely adored this property! It was situated at a quiet area and had the creek view from the front porch and view of the woods from the back porch. We had such an amazing time relaxing and exploring some nature trails in the area. Highly recommended! Thank you Rick!
