That place was filthy and falling apart, not happy at all ..even the mattress had stains. Really smelled bad and the nastiest part I seen cockroaches crawling all over the floor. I will never stay there again! The pictures was false advertisement!

Rooms clean. Good job to the maids. Prolly an old comfort inn??? Place is worn, but staff very nice and trying their best. Lots of homeless, but that is everywhere in Bakersfield, the town is a dump.

There's nothing redeeming to say and I could just go on for paragraphs about all the things wrong with this place I'll just urge you to stay somewhere else never mind any other review seriously. Let's start at the very beginning ...I called at 2 am to check there was opening for a late night check-in as I was traveling cross country and needed a quick place to sleep & shower and check out in just a few hours. Upon arrival, let me be clear, the night auditor/front desk representative was very nice, very helpful & welcoming. HE WAS THE ONLY UPSIDE TO THIS ENTIRE bug infested, rundown, filthy, stained & stinky establishment. The outside appearance is deceiving. Cleaned pool, exterior is painted. That's where the good ends. All the carpets in halls and rooms, heavily stained, filthy, not vacuumed, and pungent odor. The walls haven't been wiped down in this building in years, our air conditioner in the room was not only off but broken, and no thermostat. The desk chair looks like it was hauled out of dumpster and wheeled into the room. Gum stuck to it, rips in the fabric, the faux leather stripped off, headboards on both beds looks like Wolverine had a field day and ripped them apart! Bathroom towels, not only stained, but not cleaned. Bathmats stained, and both beds had consistently placed long hairs intertwined into the blankets!!! The surfaces were all unwiped and layers of just old film on everything. It’s quite obvious no one wet wipes anything in these rooms. Or vacuums, or cleans up stains. I have never refused a room before. I did today twice. And the kicker??? I spent a total of 24 minutes in between 2 rooms when I finally just drove away and the manager was no

The only good thing I can say about this property is that the dining options were close by. When I book a budget motel, I don't expect high-end furnishings or 5 star service. But I do expect furnishings that are not broken, stained or torn (I have pictures). The included breakfast was two open boxes of cereal, and two open jugs of juice in an ice tub. There may have been other things, but that is what I saw. I would not stay here again.
