Cozy and Rustic "Bear Themed" Cabin~private pond and 7 miles to YNP entrance!

PLEASE READ before inquiring! Come enjoy the true outdoor experience here at Buttermilk Country Cabins. This cozy cabin is our "Bear Themed" cabin. Located just 7.7 miles from the entrance to Yellowstone. This cabin is nestled in nature on a private 40+ acres. Owner's residence is conveniently nearby and there are 2 more rental cabins nearby as well. There is a rodeo and horse rides on the property every summer from mid June until mid August. There is also a private pond for fishing. This cabin also makes a great choice for snowmobilers in the winter as main trails are located right out the front of property and we have more than enough space to park your trailers.

The rodeo starts at 7:00pm and is over around 9:00pm. You can buy your tickets online at yellowstonerodeo.com or you can buy them at the gate the night of. Horse trail rides are available, excluding Sundays while the rodeo is in operation. Horse rides sell out quickly so I would suggest booking them in advance at the website listed above.

Loved the Bear Cabin, perfect size, warm homey feeling,very clean and welcoming. It’s a great location to town and to the W Entrance to Yellowstone. The owners are onsite and there anytime if you needed anything. We highly recommend this cabin for your stay. We’ll be back!!!

Very charming cabin in west yellowstone
Great cabin furnished with taste, very well equiped + oil, spices and condiments to cook. Nice hosts, very reactive to respond. Wifi sometimes a bit unstable. Great location, not too far from the city of West Yellowstone. Rodeo next door, very convenient.

The cabin is exactly as described - quiet, private and close to the West Yellowstone entrance. It was well laid out and user friendly; immaculate; good kitchen and counter space with all necessary utensils, etc; great selection of on-line tv shows/movies; and convenient parking. Hosts were readily available to assist as needed and accommodated our special request pertaining to our allergies to scented products. 100% please with our experience.

Simply Wonderful!
Could not ask for a more perfect stay. The cabin is so cozy, spotless, and in the perfect setting. Horses on the property are so friendly and love being loved on! They greeted us at dusk as we arrived "home" after a long day in the park. Took so many beautiful pictures. Short distance from town of West Yellowstone and west entrance to the park is very convenient. Tarah and Caleb were very responsive and welcome book very helpful with tips on places to eat and things to do if you want to explore the area outside of the park. Please do not leave without meeting this kind and wonderful family. Loved our conversation with them. They really want your stay to be perfect. We are very grateful for the memories made here. Thank you!

Absolutely loved our time at Yellowstone National Park and the cabin was perfect! So beautifully built and decorated and homey. Breathtaking Getaway
Absolutely gorgeous location and perfect cabin getaway. Located about 7 minutes west of West Yellowstone, it offers easy access to all of the shops/restaurants/museums, and the Yellowstone West Entrance. Only a 7 minute drive, after the daily fun, to quiet and solitude. We've never slept in such peace and quiet! Also loved visiting with their horses when we would come and go!

A little slice of Heaven
This little cabin was a little slice of Heaven in West Yellowstone, Montana. The location isn’t far from the west gate of Yellowstone NP. The cabin is beautifully decorated and feels like a home away from home. It has all the amenities you will need and the bed is so comfortable. Our teenager slept on the pull out couch which is cozy right next to the gas fireplace. The owners are wonderful. Communication with them was always prompt and thorough. Our family truly enjoyed coming to this lovely cabin after long days exploring Yellowstone. We highly recommend it. Go ahead and book it now :)

Wonderful getaway!
This was the perfect getaway for us! Great location , exactly what we were looking for! Far enough away but still close enough to easily see the park and enjoy West Yellowstone. The host were so nice prior to our visit and answered all our questions. Honestly, a wonderful getaway!

We had the pleasure of staying in this lovely cabin that was just 6 miles from West Yellowstone entrance. The hospitality of the hosts was amazing. We arrived a little early and met Caleb, the owner, who greeted us and allowed us to check in just a little early. He gave us some history on the cabin and property. Sadly, we missed the last rodeo of the season. The cabin itself was beautiful, comfortable, and quaint. Perfect for our 34th wedding anniversary weekend. My husband asked to stay in a cabin in the woods, and this fit the bill perfectly. It was extremely clean and comfortable. We just could not have asked for a more perfect weekend stay. Thank you to our hosts. Would definitely recommend, and would stay again!

The Perfect Getaway!
We stayed at this cozy cabin for our honeymoon and couldn't have enjoyed it more! The cabin was gorgeous and immaculate. Every little touch was perfect! We felt so cozy and at home. Plus it being on the quiet, beautiful horse ranch was the icing on top. We loved seeing the horses everyday and getting away from the hustle and bustle of town yet still so close. We thank you so much for our stay and can't wait to come back❤️😊
