This motel should not be listed with hotels.com. upon arrival the room smelled of mold. No ac to remove odor. The hot water has to run for 25 minutes efore you get hot water for your shower.

Solo trip

It was a solo getaway so wasnt looking for anything special. Room with king bed was simple. Bathroom nicely updated. Disappointed that even though the place was pretty much deserted, they put someone in the room right next to me. People in the room were loud and immediately started smoking pot which smell came through to my bathroom. Luckily, they were only there the one night. No hairdryer in my bathroom. But overall, happy with stay But

The property is next to the airport and on a busy road, therefore noisy. Nothing for breakfast, just a coffee machine. I did not find the grounds very appealing but it’s a nice clean place and 10 minute drive to the ocean and downtown Westerly, which was very charming.

The staff is great, the grounds are wonderfully quaint with a little waterfall and and fish! Not for everyone, but, I love this place! Always affordable, always clean, and everyone is always respectful and welcoming!

Looks like owners had put some real work into a small outside area. I had nice picnic tabla, a fire pit, and a beautiful waterfall river. But lots of half done areas accessible and visable, felt unsafe. And as a dog friendly hotel, there was no real area for the dogs other than right by the road. Not ideal. Would stay again for the price, but would NOT recommend for a family vacation.

This motel is a safe, quiet place to stay within miles of Misquamicut Beach in Rhode Island. The pool is very clean, and we enjoyed that amenity very much. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The King-sized bed was very soft and uneven, and that was difficult on our backs. Furnishing is sparse. One bedside table with a very dim light, or bright ceiling lights. On the other side of the bed was a refrigerator with a freezer unit and a coffee maker. Nice-- but not convenient for the person sleeping on that side, as no place to put glasses, a book, etcetera. The bathroom needs work. The toilet was "shimmed" in place with wood, the "step-in" shower was only about 2" deep, and the shower curtain didn't reach down, so there was inevitably a wet, slippery bathroom floor after every shower. Parking right outside the door -- ice available to purchase by the bag -- close to dining and shopping (and of course the beach) I've stayed here many times over the years, and these were new owners to me -- but I like all of the landscaping, picnic tables, grills, etc., they've added to the property. We will definitely stay there again but will ask for perhaps a queen bed or two double beds that are not so back-achingly soft. I don't know how long these owners have had the property, as it's been some time since we had a chance to get to Rhode Island. I wish them well and fully expect the room "glitches" will be upgraded, most likely off-season.

The bed linens should be replaced. Clean but stained. Property was a good location for our purposes. Staff was good. I needed a hair dryer and was surprised there wasn't one in the room so I requested one and it was provided immediately.

Great late-night check-in system, comfy stay

Very comfortable stay for the Rhythm & Roots Festival 10 minutes away. We alerted Aquastar Inn that we were arriving late at night, so they have a great system with a lock-box for after-hours check-in to get your key - and they texted the instructions and room number hours before our arrival. Did not use the pool, but it looked nice. Got a nice breakfast about 2 minutes up the road at Sunny Side Up.

Mediocre for the price.

The room needed updating on the furniture. The room was located facing the road so we had to deal with traffic’s noise. The room was adjacent to their storage are and in the mornings workers went in the area and they were loud enough we could here them in our room.
