We arrived at the hotel at 11:30pm to check-in. Even though I had a reservation (made 4 weeks in advance) and had it confirmed with hotel, we were told there were no rooms available and that a wedding group had booked 3 weeks in advance. We had no choice but to drive 2 hours home - after a very long day. The best we were given was that it was Travelocity's error. No accountability was taken even though I had spoken to the actual hotel weeks prior. I called Travelocity while in the hotel lobby and told it would be a 15 min wait for someone to speak with. After 40 mins, a representative apologized and then but me on hold another 10 mins only to be told the same information we were given at the hotel. It was now after midnight and we started our drive home. They connected us with another person who also put us on hold several times, only to be told we could drive 11 miles to the nearest available hotel room and that we would need to pay upfront. At this point I had zero faith, and said we did not want it. I was then asked if I wanted to keep my current reservation! The same reservation i had made 4 weeks prior, just spent over an hour with customer service explaining the hotel had no room for us. The problem is, as sorry as everyone told us they were, it wasnt going to change our situation. Extremely disappointed.
