Absolutely stunning
What can I say but that this was just heaven on earth. We stayed in this fabulous place for 5 days and it was just amazing. The views were just breathtaking. The area was like you were in a small town . The hottub was great at the end of every day. Beachcombing for sand dollars eary in the morning was such a fun time and the sunsets were magnificent. Had everthing you needed to make meals and the grill was a plus. They even had a bottle of wine waiting for us. My husband and I had a once in a liftime west coast vacation. Was in the perfect vicinity to see all the attractions of the redwoods. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful oceanside cottage.

I usually write a long review about the amazing ocean views and how lovely it is to unwind in their hot tub overlooking the Pacific with a glass of wine after an afternoon of hiking. But I'll just leave it at this: This was our 7th stay in 8 years. We wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else!

Absolutely gorgeous setting. Beautiful view of the ocean from a large deck. Sit in the hot tub on the deck and enjoy the view. Gas BBQ worked great. We used it several times. Full-size kitchen that was well furnished. Washer/dryer in unit. The bed was comfortable and there was a great view of the ocean from the bedroom. Highly recommended.

Amazing little place, we will be back and refer friends/family. Bring kleenex and papertowels, expect the racoon to dump the trash every night unless you bring a bungee to keep it upright and sealed. Lol. Would recommend the owners get a king size bed, totally enough room for it.

Perfect North Coast getaway!
We love the ocean, and this was the perfect place to stay. We could see and hear the ocean. The home was clean and comfortable. Awesome views from both inside and outside the home. We had a great lunch at the Lighthouse Cafe in town, but we cooked mostly our own food. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans, and utensils, so we had no problems cooking. The area was very quiet, so we had very peaceful evenings. Can't wait to visit again!!

One of our favorite rentals of all time!
This was our 3rd year in a row staying at the beautiful Garage House, and though every time we add more days, it gets tougher to leave each time! There is so much to see and hike around there, but my wife's happy place is reading in the sun on the deck looking out over the ocean and Trinidad. Great views, even when storms roll through! We finally hiked the James Irvine/Clintonia trail and highly recommend. Thanks again, Bill!

Unparalleled views at the Garage House
We spent Thanksgiving here in 2021 and were knocked out by this rental's views, location and overall experience. Two years later we had another great vacation: except this time we were also able to use the hot tub, sat on a huge deck overlooking Houda Cove, to Little River Rock. We had a fine time and with easy access (north and south) to 101 and a professional, responsive owner in Bill Snell, this rental is hard to beat: if you only need one well-appointed bedroom and some peace and quiet... Also note the hot water and heating work well on a winter evening. Still our favorite VRBO property on California's north coast.
