We got in around 7pm and the woman who checked us in was lovely, very helpful, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the area. I wanted so much to leave a glowing review of this place because it seemed very well kept, and clean, which is my biggest “thing” and then comfort! . The beds were very comfy. The place was quiet. But when I walked into my room I got hit with an overwhelming smell of urine. The room, including the bathroom, were “clean”, however… that smell. Ew. But, me, being the clean freak I am, I carry disinfectant and air freshener, so I didn’t make a big deal about the odor, like I normally would. I just took care of it and went to sleep. I was exhausted and didn’t feel like room hopping. The real topper was the next morning after we all checked out of our rooms and were about to drive away, my mom told me she was doing a “sweep” of her room to make sure she or dad didn’t leave anything behind, and she found a USED CONDOM just under the edge of the bed!!! THAT was the moment I put the truck in reverse and went back in to speak to the manager. My mom & dad are in their 80’s!! Mom was worried they would think it was THEIRS!!! Hahahahaha! Anyway, totally UNACCEPTABLE. Too bad we had this experience since I chose this place BECAUSE everyone else said how clean and comfy it was. That was partly true… the bed was very comfy cozy and I got a good nights sleep! But I’m so grossed out by the whole nastiness of my mom’s room, & the urine smell. EW!! Not OK!
