The room was in good condition, the bed was comfy. Overall, the hotel did exactly what I needed, namely: gave my wife and I a place to sleep after a concert and before jumping on a plane the following morning.

We never got the room keys, every time we wanted to access te room, we had to ask for someone to open it, on the first night, we asked for water, the lady who guided us to the room said she would take us some, but she never brought it, while we were in the elevator with that lady, she made a very rude comment about my husband’s shirt, she said “you’re wearing a very controversial shirt, sir “.referring to Trump shirt,

We booked this hotel because we were in town for a youth soccer tournament and let me say this was One of the worst Marriott experiences I’ve ever had. We had to get escorted up to our room every time we needed to get in — sometimes waiting up to 10 minutes before anyone was available . This was due to a software issue where no keys were able to be made . The ice machine on floor 10 did not work to fill up soccer jugs, so we tried getting ice downstairs are the lobby cafe . That worked once but ran out throughout the weekend and was directed to the restaurant, however no body was around to assist , so we gave up. Breakfast was horrible . I spent 78 dollars on basically a bowl of fruit for four people because no body could eat the food . While the room first appeared clean, we ended up finding dirty socks on the ground and candy trash from the previous guest . The employees that did take care of us were very nice however, probably the only positive thing I can say . It seemed to me the same three employees, and looking back I wish I got names to single them out as great . Won’t be coming back to this hotel next time we are in Tampa, probably won’t even give marriot in Tampa another opportunity.

Phenominal customer service from Raul the shuttle driver ..Our flight arrived after midnight, after his last run. He came back,picked us up, offered cold water and told us the hotel was no longer serving food so he offered to drive us to a restaurant that was still open. When we arrived at the hotel he loaded our bags on the luggage cart, waited while we checked in, then took our luggage to our room. So customer service is spelled RAUL. Thank you Raul, you are a credit to the hotel .
