Don’t do it! It’s a dump.
Old old structure. Questionable condition. Rotten and rusted banisters and balcony. Room was tiny. Tiny! Barely enough room. To walk around the beds. Absolutely no sound deadening from room to room. Totally sketchy people and activities in the parking lot. I’d not recommend this place to anyone.

Buyer beware.
The room was basic. TV didn’t work, but I didn’t report it. Blankets were thin. Motel is in a sketchy part of town, lots of street people. My family was concerned for my safety. Two towels only, no wash cloths. For the price, not adequate. Almost $600 for three nights. Won’t go there again.

Would not recommend
Smelled like smoke, felt dirty, lightening was too bright. Asked where our dog could relief himself, was told to walk to the beach. The beach is not close, not very helpful front desk person.

Sophia and her son were excellent hosts always pleasant, considerate and helpful. Price is Right and the location is excellent I will be staying here again. Thank you so much for your hospitality I truly appreciate it.

This was by far THE worst place I have ever stayed. Then they asked for a security deposit, I cleaned the room but I feel that the clerk was trying to find a reason to keep the deposit. I took several pictures for protection, lousy place.

Unsanitary place with brown stained bedsheets, walls, bath tub, and towels. Smelled very bad like urine and cigarettes when we walked in. Smoking outside smell went inside non-smoking room. Bathroom was worst of all— very dirty. Was only provided with 2 small stained towels.

Perfect stay passing through Santa Cruz.
Place was close to boardwalk, service was very nice. They accommodated the extra pillows needed for our family and they were super nice during check in. The only downside to this place was some of he other guests in the motel. Loud music and a lot of unique guests made it a little uncomfortable for our children. On a plus it is totally a great place to stay overnight on our trip through Santa Cruz. If you’re passing through. The rates are good, clean rooms, nice family management and close to walk everywhere. The front desk gave us a great room and there was enough space for our family. The couch pulls out into a bed so that was an extra nice perk. Also windows open we asked for a 3 rd floor room and we got one of the best rooms on the end. It was nice to see that a family can run a motel and take pride in their service and cleanliness of the rooms. We would stay again if we were passing through. Again it’s a motel not a hotel so it was what I expected and in many ways exceed our expectations. Only other suggestion to add would be if they had coffee makers for guests in the room.

The room seemed new and upgraded. The two queen beds sat on metal bed box frames so any adjusting on the bed came with lots of metal clanking. Which was pretty disruptive to sleep.

Stay anywhere but this place!
My family & were guests for a weekend. From midnight to 4 AM there was a very loud disturbance from the guests in the rooms on each side of us. It first started with them blasting music at midnight, then escalated into a gigantic fight between the two parties because I guess they were a family. They were screaming and fighting and then it got physical as my boyfriend and my daughter woke up to the sounds of a woman being beat in the room next to us . There was also a physical fight outside the door because they were drunk and running back and forth across the balcony and slamming doors. Someone finally called the police and they came around 3AM and they had to come and de-escalate the situation, but that only partially helped because they were still being extremely loud and even the threat of arresting someone did not help. my family came to Santa Cruz for a mini vacation but this has ruined our trip, we woke up very restless and exhausted from the chaos that occurred the night before . I would also like to add that whoever was working that Night downstairs did nothing to help de-escalate the situation or even come up. I don’t recommend stay at this hotel.
