Super hotel
Just stayed the one night but would happily return. Friendly helpful staff, nicely furnished, super food in the restaurant and fine breakfast, clean comfortable rooms, great bar, easy parking. Just great all round!

Hard to fault - extraordinarily comfortable
Excellent experience . Possibly the most immaculate hotel I have stayed in. Staff attentive and unfailingly genuinely cheerful- whole place smacks of attention to detail, long experience and focus on staff morale and training. A slick and happy team. Someone mentioned issues with coffee cup size/ machine refilling at breakfast. I echo that. Perhaps machines could be rejigged to allow for mugs as well as small cups. Food excellent. No lift - but assistance offered. Very spacious rooms- even a clothes line in the bathroom- not much they haven’t thought of. The place ‘hugs’ you. Highly recommended.

Our check in experience was excellent and then when we went to leave at 6:15 am the next morning the desk attendant’s service was amazing! He made conversation, got us our sack breakfasts and then assisted us to our taxi with a great, caring attitude!

Excellent service throughout the hotel. Staff is your key asset and they were so friendly, helpful and had a very good way with our child which was important for us. Decor was chic and made created and very inviting overall appearance. Food in the restaurant was excellent as was the service. One small minor point-I thought the pool was a bit cool for a child

Ireland Road Trip
First stop on our roadtrip around Ireland. Whitford House is amazing! Super clean, beautiful inside and out, great location, easy to find, restaurant has great food, staff are wonderful and welcoming, room was perfect. Only negative is we aren't staying here longer. Highly recommended.

Not quite worth the price. Positives were the very polite and helpful staff, the property was nice and clean, and the pool was great! There were some odd downsides, you cannot control the room temperature and it was very hot. When my husband and I asked reception for a corkscrew wine opener, we were directed to the bar, when we asked one of the employees at the bar he looked very confused and told us he didn't have one, then he just walked away... it's a bar so that was rather strange. The property advertises laundry services, even when you get into your room there's an informational guide with a number to call for nighttime laundry services. However, the laundry services are just their own privately hired launderers and are only available until 5pm each day. We were traveling around the country over several weeks, so I was really looking forward to doing some laundry and was pretty disappointed. The best part of the whole stay was the pool, it seemed very clean and I loved the hygienic policies in the locker rooms and pool area.
