Whistler Townhome 4 bedroom, steps to ski hills and village - reno fall 2018

Main floor provides cozy living area with wood fireplace, small and functional kitchen, and formal dining seats to 8 comfortably, 10 is doable. Patio off dining area with BBQ. Main floor has 3 piece bath with stand up shower. Second level offers cozy master with window seat and TV, Main Bath with jetted tub, second and third bedrooms. The top floor provides a great room for kids with 3 twins and one futon and a TV! Updated Bathrooms in November 2013 offer spa like relaxation after hitting the slopes. Bedding: King, Twins or King in second, Single Bunks in third, Fourth bedroom on top floor - 3 singles and futon.
You will find Main lifts of Whistler Village out the front and to the right and with the Upper Village lifts just across the street. Take the back route along Fitzsimmons Creek only steps from the quaint covered bridge to parking lot 1 and the mid Village entrance. (Note guests checking in must be 25 + aside from children with families due to insurance provider restrictions on our policy. ) Whistler Business License #13526

Amazing place with perfect location
Annual guy ski trip. It was our first time in Whistler and we loved our place. There were 7 of us total but it could have fit 10 comfortably, which was the original number of our group until a few had to drop out. The host was very accommodating and easy to get ahold of. The location was perfect. Walking distance to either lift on the mountain as well to all of the downtown area. Once we arrived, we didn’t get into our vehicle again until we left for the airport. If we come back, we will definitely stay at this place again. It’s going to be hard to beat for the next ski trip.

Thanksgiving trip
The property is in a great location. Very easy and walkable to get to both the upper and lower village. There were only 4 adults and one child in my group. I imagine if there were more adults it would have been pretty cramped in the kitchen as it is pretty small. It says it is a fully stocked kitchen however, there were no scissors, the can opener was broken and there were zero spices. Not even salt and pepper and no cooking oil either. They could also use some more plates and cups. I can’t imagine how fast you would go through all that stuff if there were more adults staying. If you plan on eating out for most meals I’m sure it would suffice. But we had a lot of our meals in the house. I did appreciate how many towels were given to us and that they were of substantial size. There was only one small hair dryer in the downstairs bathroom and it didn’t work. It did seem a little drafty in the living room in the evening and we ended up making a little presto log fire every night, which was fine. Overall we enjoyed the space, the location and the easy access to get into the property/the parking and would prob stay here again.

Great ski in/out house, easy walk to village!
My siblings, SOs, and a few friends stayed in the house for a 5 day ski trip. We had 9 in our group and while the house is a small square footage for the max headcount, the living and dining area are well furnished to make it comfortable! House is just a couple minute walk to three different gondolas and both the Whistler/BC villages. Gillian was super helpful answering a few questions and coordinating check in for us. Would absolutely stay here again. The kitchen was a bit understocked on cookware, storage items, dishes, and had zero spices, cooking oils, sugar, etc, as my only criticism. Maybe related to covid protocol.

Great location
The townhouse is in a great location, short walk to upper village and has Fitz Simmons Creek right behind it. The downside was it was super hot! We were there during a hot spell in summer and not enough windows open, it felt like a sweat box. The owner has fans there but the main floor only had one small window and the sliding door for air circulation. We also had ants the first day but I bought Raid and sprayed the sliding door track and they stopped coming in. The unit is nicely updated and the complex is quiet, the grassy area was a real bonus. All in all I think it's a good place to rent but avoid hot weather!!

Just a great location, didn't have to get in my car once. Be careful because we got our 2nd car towed (our own fault) but the towtrucks are no joke up there. Would definitely rent it again.

Great family weekend it Whistler
Enjoyed our family weekend in Whistler. Comfortable and cozy unit for 8 adults (4 couples). Lots of seating in the living room to hang out etc. Large dining table for all 8 of us to eat meal, and then plan games in the evening. I was worried about only 2 bathrooms, but was not an issue. Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and appliances, just make sure you bring your own spices, sugar etc. Loved the location. Easy walk to the Village. Complex was very quiet. Secured underground parking, and also 1 spot above ground. Would have loved a hot tub, but not permitted by strata. We would stay here again :)

Golf trip to Whistler
The lodging at The Gables was perfect for our annual weekend of golf with the boys. This place was big enough for all eight of us to have our own bed and catch up on some laughs along the way!! Quick walk into the village and central to everything. Would recommend to anyone or group to stay here. Our property manager, Gillian was great to work with and made it very easy to check in and enjoy our stay.

Well if i could up load pics would be a huge diff and pics would say everything i would say but Im not typing a huge letter!!! long story short!! Would never stay in this Complex ever and this place is not worth 369.00 with the issues we had thanks and all the best. Well 1st we walked in and the place was dirty But we did get a refund back for the Cleaning but this wasnt the reall issue. 1 there was towels that where stained. 2 There was Long black hair in 1 of the town in main bathroom down stairs. 3 In main bathroom down stairs the wall was falling apart and the door to the shower was always open would not close as the door handle was broken off,allowing water to go all over the floor 4 Channel Clicker would not work at all so we had to go get batteries to make it work 5 Bathroom up stairs also had many stained towels. 6 The hantle down stairs over the fire place was ready to fall off and has a piece or wood jammed in it to hold it into place. Over all only reason we stayed there was it was close to the Village and the place looked nice but was not im very disapointed as we stay in Whistler 2-3 times a year and like to go Biking there at this point i will never go back to the pace we stayed at and probley never will and will advise people of our problems we had. Also the owner or manager was more then quite abrupt to point out that they get 600.00 in the summer well i stayed in Hi season it was in July but who cares when u pay 369.00 a night there should be no issues at all and if there is deal with it or give a break on the price or do something besides blame the cleaners in my Books this is a cop out word of mouth travels fater with bad info then it does with Good reviews. I will stay this they did refund the cleaning which they should have, but maybe should have gave a bit of a discount for all the issues im not one to ask for anything but this would have solved alot of the issue and then there would have been no negitive review from me as im doing now. Sad to see but this place and the owners and cleaner need to get together and do thing rite amke it rite and clean the place up then might be worth the money they are asking till then not in my Books have a great day.

In General was very good, Pros: close to the village, nice a quiet, is good size unit, the Manager response right away, the price was good for the accommodation Cons: not enough hot water, We was 10 people, after de second person, no more hot water, they need to update the hot water tank, cleaning service fee( is way too expensive, same as paying another day ).
