Book a hotel near Whitecliff Bay Beach, Bembridge

"Great value for money. Stunning cliff top location. 10 mins from fantastic beach walks. Only problem was when booking it stated dog friendly. Later listing then showed no dogs. Took my dogs anyway. They had a great time. "

"The hotel was a good location for us as a base. 2 minutes drive down to the beach and lifeboat station or about 15/20 minutes walk. Nice to walk along the beach path in the evening. Local convenience store on the way. Evening meal was lovely and the breakfast choice and quality was superb. Nice bar and restaurant area with lovely ambiance in the evening. Stayed midweek and was very peaceful at night. Friendly welcome and all staff were lovely and gave good service. Car park is big enough even though it gets busy with restaurant bookings. Had a slightly smaller room which could do without the wardrobes being in it to give more space and room for a couple of easy chairs but the bathroom was generous. Nice touch with the travel toiletries. "

"Superb location, in the heart of the village. Private parking incredibly useful. Owner very flexible on time periods and change over days. Quick response to queries as well. We had an excellent week away. One thing to note is that the stairs are quite steep (being in a cottage, not a surprise) but the more elderly or very the young might need an eye keeping on them. Property refurb is showing its age in a couple of places - but on the whole, it was excellent. Water pressure good, shower good (again, high bath a struggle for less mobile elderly people maybe). Decent cutlery and glasses/plates etc. One to visit again some time."
