Texans are very friendly and helpful. Harry and Debbie went out of their way to take care of me. The room was clean but I had to change three rooms to find one that didn't have an overwhelming smell of cigarette even though the rooms were non smoking. Because of that I had difficulty sleeping and breathing and woke up quite congested in my lungs. Throat and sinuses. Also, two of the lights didn't work. I would like to stay there again should the need arise but I will probably look for a hotel that doesn't smell like cigarette.

Balcony was un level, tripped over a poor attempt to fill a gape, walls and floor were dirty and stained. Smelled old and musty. Didn’t like to doors connecting to other rooms. Gentleman checking in was very sweet and tried to be very accommodating by giving us another room. But after driving all day, I wanted a clean comfortable room.

Best place to simply sleep
This location is great for those looking for a simple stay of hot water, comfy bed and fair price. Some might say a reno would be useful, the condition of the rooms are decent. The noise level from others might be noisy for some, but did quiet down at a decent hour. Do plan to stay here again, as the service was great!

Hotel for the working man
This is a working mans hotel. The parking lot is full of dirty trucks and people smoke in the front yard much and swear manly swear words. This is a PG-13 crowd.

The staff at the front desk was so friendly. He helped me with my bike box since he only had upstairs rooms and I had flown in for rhe HHH race. He let me put the bike back in the box down in the lobby so I wouldn’t have to bring the bike box back down the stairs again. It was hot in the room initially. But tremendous noises later while I was trying to sleep the air came on. Room was clean but place was older and generally looked a bit run down.
