Receptionist was excellent and friendly very helpful. Room was not very outdated TV remote did not work and only 1 channel. I needed the weather channel to see my upcoming road conditions. Shower was dirty with bugs on the floor shower curtain falling off... fridge dirty. Door locks very faulty..

The Baymont in El Dorado Kansas was sketchy at best. Half of the building is literally burned down from a fire. There were holes in the wall, scotch tape on the tv, mold in the bathroom, and no hot water. The lamps were dirty and damaged and there was no hair dryer. As a solution I was asked to use the hair dryer in the room 2 doors down. The continental breakfast had cold coffee, expired cereal, and a total of 2 waffle mixes provided in a mini fridge. We killed a bug climbing the wall in our room. The manager did not even bother fighting my request to have a full refund and go somewhere else. Pictures available.

Pictures of property are very deceiving. Room was subpar for Baymont standards. Refrigerator leaked water all over floor, telephone and tv not working, no outlet to charge telephones, no in room safe or clock radio as advertised, caulking in tub was cracked and missing in spots, sink faucet was broken and ceiling tiles in bathroom needs to be replaced as there was open gaps to ceiling space. With all those issues in room did not stay long enough for breakfast. Must say the room was clean and smelled fresh.

We had upstairs room and the stairway to the second level had carpeting which was very worn and had pieces of food and dirt on it. We only stayed 2 nights and couldn't wait to leave. Rooms were just ok. Bed was very noisy, creaked every time you moved or rolled over. We paid for King bed but it felt like a queen. Very small king. Shower water wasn't very warm. We only received 2 bath towels and 2 wash cloths, no hand towels. When I went down to office to get hand towels they gave me more bath towels? I guess they don't have hand towels? No daily maid service. You have to bring your dirty towels to office to get clean replacement ones. Parking lot had people loitering around and down stairs guests had doors open to their rooms. If I was alone and not with my husband I wouldn't have stayed one night.

I checked in and paid online the previous day as requested to expedite my arrival. No one at front desk. Rang bell and then roamed property for assistance. Finally found someone to check me into a terrible room. Bad bed. Loud AC…checked VM after being on road 12 hrs to hear “I think you made a reservation with us but we can’t be able to provide a room with you.” I can’t believe you advertise this place. Disgusting and dirty.
