This stay was absolutely perfect for me!!!! 15mins from airport, safe, tasty breakfast with a variety& fresh grapes& cut strawberries, clean room& building. All of my boxes were checked for a short solo stay. This will be my go to hotel while in Wichita!!!!

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Wichita East, KS was a nice place to stay the area around it was safe. The only thing i hated about this place was I woke up at 2am with Bed Bugs bites. looked around to find them and found 2. asked to change rooms and they did but they acted like it was not a big deal.

Deposit not returned
Its been a full 8 days and still no deposit refund to my card. They surprised me with a $50 deposit required in addition to the room fees i had already paid at check-in. I rebooked after the first night and had to pay the deposit again. When i checked out i was told the deposit would be returned immediately. A different employee said it would be 2-3 business days. Either way, my $100 has still not be returned and there was no reason for them to have kept it.

Our first room, toilet didn’t work but staff was very nice to move us. However, our second room smelled like mildew and had a weird noice coming from the AC first night that kept waking us up. Pool area was nice and clean and breakfast was great. Older facility room wise but public area looked very nice.

After comparing reviews to other lications in the atea i was set to stay at the Country Inn and was not let down. Although guest service reception left a lot to be desired, it was a nice stay. I felt comfortable in the hotel. It is a smoke free property. There were no weird smells or heavy deodorizer lingur8ng. The bed was comfortable, but there were no extra blankets in the room. An extra pullow was already provided in the room, but not an extra blanket. I was triubled by the room twmp. I was freezing even when I adjusted the wallmounted AC thermostat. I eventually went to the unit and turned it off for a while so I could warm up. The thermostat read 67 degrees but the setting was 70 and I tried turning it to 74. It didnt stop running until i went to the unit to turn it off. I was pleased with the quality breakfast choices. Options included fresh fruit, bread, cereal, waffles, sausage, eggs, potatoes, juice, milk, choc milk, yogurt parfait bar, and more. I thought the eggs were salted too much. I usually dont use salt when I cook, however thr eggs and sausage patty tasted heavyly salted. The morning of the last day of my 2 night stay housekeeping attempted to enter the room and I started to get checkout notifications texted to me at 830am. The property has a 12pm checkout time and I confirmed that the night prior to the morning of my departure. Overal satisfied with my stay and would stay here again.
