This is a very nice hotel in Wildwood Crest that is very conveniently located (within walking distance) to playgrounds, bike rentals, the Crest Arts Pavilion, Centennial Park, restaurants, and the beginning of the boardwalk. You can still walk to the heart of the boardwalk (past the convention center) but it's a 30-minute walk (or longer depending on where you go). The hotel is right on the ocean, so it's <10 minutes to a good spot on the beach.
The lobby level is sort of a split level, so there will be handful of steps to navigate going between the first-floor sleeping rooms level and lobby or pool.
The pool is not large but was never crowded. There are plenty of shaded seating areas. There are also lots of tables in the pool area to sit and eat.
The room is not very large, but space was utilized in an efficient manner. I travel a lot for work, so I appreciate the little attention to details, such as having lights above each bed and conveniently located and ample power outlets. If your room overlooks the park on Crocus Road, you will very likely have a view of the boardwalk fireworks.
The staff here are incredibly friendly and the service is impeccable.
We didn’t select the hotel because of its Morey’s affiliation but the discounts offered were a very nice perk as well.
Overall, would definitely stay here again.
