Perfect beach resort
Fantastic beach resort! We loved the two sheltered lagoons for swimming and snorkeling. There wasnā€™t a ton to see but we found some fish in the left lagoon by the rocks. The grounds and pool were immaculate. Cabanas and beach chairs were included. We thought the restaurant was just okay, but there are 4 or 5 very nice small restaurants about a 5 minute walk away. Staff were pleasant and helpful, particular shoutout to the front desk staff and to Shayna at Blues!

Beautiful resort! Staff was helpful and kind. It was an excellent choice for us due to my mother and her friend having mobility issues. The beach was just outside the room so they could enjoy from the patio or a brief walk. Chairs were plentiful. Restaurants were close. Would choose again. Thank you for a lovely visit Avila!

What a Hotel should be
Wonderful family run hotel, 2 beaches on site along with restaurants and bars. Split into 3 sections and very much a boutique hotel feel. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity. Would return.

The beaches on this hotel were so beautiful, the staff was great and it is a perfect hotel that is in walking distance from nearby beauties and only 20 min drive from airport and 40 min drive from the beautiful beaches on the opposite side of the island. I loved staying here

As a solo female traveler, it is important for me to stay somewhere that makes me feel safe and comfortable. The Avila checked those boxes and more. Itā€™s quite unassuming from the outside, but the grounds are absolutely beautiful, even with renovations taking place. The staff was pleasant and I felt at ease throughout my stay.

Family owned hotel. Gorgeous beaches. Staff so friendly with us and with each other. 5 minute walk to lovely restaurants if you fancy a change from the hotel dining. 15-20 minutes to cafes, and other shopping. Plus the floating bridge. Budget car rental in the hotel and if you decide to explore further. Totally recommend.

The resort in its self was good, but costumer service not so much. Itā€™ a good quiet place for family to relax and enjoy the ocean. No kind of entertainment at night and the food wasnā€™t good!

This was my wifeā€™s and my first time in Curacao. Avila made it a wonderful experience due to its amenities, location, and staff. Property had two private beaches with plenty of chairs. The area was well maintained. Food was above average for resort food, but down the street there is 4-5 restaurants and the hotel is only 10 minute walk from downtown. What made the property stand out was the attention and friendliness of the staff.
