Quarter Horse Lodge
STR- 5103

Days gone by…. A piece of the past in this special location close to Downtown Williams.

Let our quiet, spacious Lodge with beautifully furnished rooms immerse you in the simplicity & peaceful surroundings of the Bill William's mountain, with an elevation of 6,770 feet. Williams, Arizona has a lot to offer; the “Grand Canyon” Railway has a daily two-hour train trip to the “Grand Canyon National Park.” While staying near the Grand Canyon, take time out to see the Indian ruins and reservations, the Painted Desert, Monument Valley, Petrified Forest, Historic Downtown Flagstaff, the majestic Red Rocks of Sedona or any of the other hidden wonders of Northern Arizona. The Rodeo Grounds are only a 0.5 mile walk down Rodeo Rd. There are 4 rooms that share a common wall to the Quarter Horse Inn & Lodge. Larger parties may rent these rooms to allow for accommodations for 8 additional guests. Please note that if you do not reserve these rooms, they may be rented by other guests.

There is a trail across the street that you can use to walk into the edge of town under the railroad that only takes 10 minutes.

Set foot into this extremely Grand, southwest-themed log home and experience all the splendor it has to offer. Decorated with Southwest and Native American decor, this beautiful log cabin home makes you feel like you're heading west, paving the road to the New Frontier.

The lower level of this captivating home includes all of the living areas. There is a boundless “Great Room” that is equipped with not one but two gorgeous fireplaces, comfy furniture with a large flat-screened television and you will absolutely love the handsome bar, for your entertainment. Did I mention the soaring vaulted ceilings!

Be prepared to entertain with the lavish and extravagant kitchen. Enjoy stainless-steel appliances, including a six-burner induction cooktop, double stainless-steel ovens, and a microwave. Featuring two dishwashers, you wont be able to make a mess that this kitchen isn't prepared to handle!
Enjoy your meals from the lovely dining room table (Seats eight or twelve with pull-out leaves and folding chairs), or serve your family from the center island bar that seats 4! There is also a glass-top table in the Great Room that seats four.

If you'd like to enjoy a meal outside, you'll love the table that seats six, underneath the gazebo, in the backyard. With a grill that's hooked up to the cabin's gas system, you are able to cook to your hearts content without being concerned about charcoal or propane.

The magic doesn't' end when you head upstairs. The second level is utterly stunning with four very large, gorgeous bedrooms, three exquisite bathrooms, a common entertainment room, an office area and a nursery.

By the way, there is at least one fireplace in every bedroom!

The master bedroom is humongous times two! Once you are in the master bedroom, you will admire the beautiful king sized bed with matching end tables and lamps. There is a lovely wood desk with a large mirror that allows you to get ready for any affair in style. In addition, there are two twin beds, both with trundles! Don't miss the large massage chair. It will help you to unwind after a long day of exploring. With a large TV and two large chairs to sit, this master has everything you could possibly want.

Adjacent to the master is an office and work-station, equipped with filing cabinets and a printer, allowing you to stay connected from your home base.

Just off the master is a picturesque nursery for your loved little ones. You will find a crib as well as a diaper changing station. There are two rocking chairs that allow you to put your child to sleep in peace. Also, you'll find a cot for a child that may be a little bit too big for the crib.

Through the nursery room is the charming master bathroom with dual sinks and a combination bath / shower.

In you are lucky enough to slumber in what we refer to as the 'Blue Room', you will be greeted by a beautiful stained-glass window above your king sized bed. There is also a TV for your viewing pleasure. As you walk into the private bathroom, you can't help but notice the beautifully tiled walk-in shower. As this bathroom is equipped with two sinks, there is a multitude of space available for you.

In a third inviting bedroom, you'll find a queen sized bed and a bunk bed! There is a TV and a sink, to clean up after fun activities.

In the fourth graceful bedroom, there is a king sized bed under beautifully painted faux walls. In the bathroom, you'll love to find a free-standing claw foot tub, which is truly a sight to behold. There is also a walk-in shower in this bathroom!

In addition to all of the unique and memorable bedrooms, there is also a entertainment room for all to enjoy. With a large assortment of books and movies to watch on the TV, you are sure to find something to peak your interest. The couch also doubles as a futon, which can also act as sleeping accommodations for an additional two people.

We supply freshly cleaned linens, bedding, and towels for all our guests. We also supply paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish, dishwasher, and hand soap. There is an additional Pack'n'Play in the 'Blue Room' closet.

Although often there will be a variety of condiments, coffee, etc., we cannot guarantee what will be available.

If booking a wedding or other event, there are additional fees that apply. Please contact us prior to making a reservation for more information.

10pm is when quiet hours begin. We ask our guests to respect other guests in the building, and to keep noise to a minimum at 10pm.

Please note that this beautiful Lodge is adjacent to four exquisite Inn rooms that share a beautiful common space, of their own. Each room is equipped with a gorgeous full bath, fireplace, television with cable and much more. The space accommodates an additional eight people. Please contact us if you would like more information about the Inn. The Quarter Horse Inn & Lodge is available to be rented in it's entirety for weddings, business retreats and other special events.

Lots of space - but no AC
We are from Florida, and came to the area for a family vacation. We’ve never visited anywhere that DIDN’T have AC, so I didn’t even think to check for air conditioning under amenities when looking for a VRBO to stay. (This was my fault.). HOWEVER - it would be nice for the listing to mention this in the house description. We didn’t find out about not having ac until a few day before our trip. It ended up working out fine - we opened windows and ran the fans, but the first night was warm because the house had not been “opened up” before we arrived. But otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. Beautiful backyard for the kids to run, lots of space in the house, and a well stocked kitchen. (But the bathrooms could use more washcloths.)

Great Location and Plenty of Space
We had a group of 9 of us stay in mid-April and we loved the size of the place and the outdoor patio. The location was great as well as we were quite close to Williams without hearing any of the noise in town.

Not as expected
Pictures on Site are kind of misled, so was the location. The house is very nice on the outside, but it's located right by houses and Trailors. There really was no scenery. The only thing really nice on the inside was the Great room downstairs. Linens were kinda old and stained. Showers are definitely for people 4ft tall, and the faucet was broke in one of the bedrooms. Dryer door is broken off also. We tried playing some of the games, but pieces were missing, and the TVs reception was on and off. Was very hot upstairs. It wasn't a bad stay, just not what we all expected. There were 4 couples, and one couple had to struggle with showering because there is no shared bathrooms upstairs.

Express gathering
This Lodge had plenty of room for the whole family, adults, teenagers and the little ones. The open floorplan in the gathering area allowed for the whole family to enjoy and large bedrooms were great for all our sleeping arrangements The only complaint was hot water was lacking for showering and sinks with warm temperatures at best.

Perfect family experience!
We were here with our four kids, celebrating our oldest’s 8th birthday. Williams is beautiful and this lodge was exquisite! It was everything that our family needed. My husband and I slept in the master bedroom, with our one year old in the adjoining nursery that was equipped with changing table and crib. Grandma (my MIL) had her own room with en suite bathroom, and the two older boys had the room with the bunkbeds, which they adored! My almost 3 year year-old daughter, had a queen bed all to herself, and everyone had enough room for bathrooms. The kitchen and living area downstairs was perfect for our family, and there were snacks available to us the moment we stepped in. I cannot say enough about the backyard, which was so fun for the kids to run around and play in. Within an hour of Arriving, a train went by and we could see the train crossings. My kids were thrilled as we had come to Williams to see the trains among other things. This home was so intentional for families with little kids! There were two high chairs/booster seats in the laundry room that we used for my one-year-old and two-year-old. The list goes on. This is the place to stay for a family!

Advertisement on the original VRB post had nothing about no air conditioning. that came after contract signed and checkin process portion. I feel that a property should have that at the top of the ad. Home was enjoyable and greatful that we were not there with it being any warmer.

Annual Family Vacation
The property was large enough for our family of 8 (5 adults and 3 children), so we weren't tripping over each other. At first we had a problem finding the front door, since there are so many doors at this property (front door is to the left of the garage). A couple of things I'd like to point out. My son didn't realize there was a second step down into the garage and fell, injuring both knees and spraining his ankle. We couldn't find a first aid kit, so we called management. The person who answered the phone wasn't able to help. Second, we spotted a mouse in the downstairs half bath and was able to get it out of the house. The next day we spotted the mouse running into the laundry room (which is between the half bath and kitchen). We weren't able to find it to get it out of the house. Management needs to address the mouse issue, since it's a health issue, especially when there are small children staying there. Despite the issues, we still had a fun vacation.

Wonderful Experience - Just a few minor issues
We had the most amazing time! There happened to be a small fair right across the field over the weekend and on Sunday night they put on one of the most amazing firework shows we had ever seen and it was in the back yard! We were making smores, enjoying the beautiful weather, the train came up right as they started and it almost seemed like a scene out of a movie it was so perfect. The reason for the 4 stars was because when we pulled up there were people staining/painting the exterior of the house. I understand that it's got to be done, the house looked great so obviously that requires upkeep. However, it could have maybe been scheduled during the week or another weekend when there weren't guests in the house. We had to make sure all our blinds were closed because they said they were going to come the next morning and we were just picturing waking up to someone outside our windows lol plus trying to make sure little ones don't touch the drying house is quite difficult. A couple other things I wanted to mention, don't put any food in the cabinet that is in the dining area. The train is really close which is awesome during the day for kids to watch but quite loud at night. All of that aside, we had plenty of space for our large family. Room to go outside or upstairs to get away from the noise, have the kids run around without bothering anyone, etc. The house itself had everything we needed for cooking large dinners, playing board games, sleeping, getting ready, etc. We are planning this as a bi-annual trip and we just hope we can book this cabin every time!

The property was average. We were not given distinctive directions on where we should enter the property. We were also not made aware the property would be shared - we were under the impression it was a single, stand-alone property - not an inn connected. A couple from the inn entered our part of the property which was very unnerving! A call to the office did handle that problem, which we were very thankful. We also had issues with adequate hot water for showers. It was clean and accommodated our group well.
