I like the boardwalk connection. Easy walk to restaurants and the Boardwalk. Room needed updating and a few repairs.

The pool was out of service with seemingly no effort to repair or clean it. The gate to enter beach access was screwed shut for the last day of our long weekend and the outdoor shower disconnected. Staff took beach blanket from in front of our room which was really weird fortunately I saw and followed to take it back.. overall just not like it used to be and seemed like they had just given up on the place.

I reserved a room with an ocean view, and was given a room on the first floor with view of the next building wall. I asked to be given another room, "with the view". It turned out - there are NO rooms with ocean view, maybe with some glimpses of it, from the second floor. The property is not just old, it's ancient! The room door has the spaces between the door and the frame, the bathroom door could not be closed at all, as it's deformed from humidity and age. No hair dryer. But the worst was the bed - looks like a full size with a terrible mattress that gave both of us the back pain. Very noisy AC. The pool has a disgusting green slime in it, no wonder nobody was using it. The price though is not the cheapest in the area. $247 for a night in a shack is too steep. The staff is friendly and efficient though. No complaints about them.

Incredibly wonderful Icon!
I love this hotel and the fact that it has been a part of the Carolina Beach landscape for decades. The property is “vintagey” and they have done an amazing job at keeping up with this iconic part of CB. The cost is great for such a convenient and beautiful lication.

We didn't sleep at all
The property has an excellent location and is priced to match the accommodation level. The air conditioner was an older unit that should have been replaced a long time ago. Every time the unit cycled on the loudness would wake us up and keep us awake while it was running. The condition of the unit must have been known to management given that house keeping is in the room so frequently. We'll be returning to the area but staying elsewhere.

Awesome stay!
I loved my stay at the SeaWitch Motel! Easy access to the beach and everything I wanted to go to was within walking distance. Never needed to move my car. The SeaWitch Tiki Bar across the street was an excellent experience. Really felt at home there. The staff is awesome and I will certainly stay there on my next Carolina Beach visit!

The pictures online vs the room we were in did not match up but the room was quaint and what we needed. The bathroom and shower were not as clean as I would have liked but everything else was fine. Service was quick from the front desk and they were very kind. Great location and price.

We absolutely loved our weekend getaway at the SeaWitch. It’s adorable, cozy, and right on the beach. The only negative thing we could say is that the water pressure in the shower is subpar. 10/10 would definitely recommend and we plan to stay again in the future.

The Place for a Perfect Beach Trip
Staying at the SeaWitch Motel has become a family tradition of ours for going on six years now, and we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, and the location is perfect. Staying here gives you the ability to park your car when you arrive and not use it again until you leave, since everything you could possibly need is within walking distance. We love it and are already looking forward to our next visit:):)!!

The room was small. The bed had dog hair on it as well as the bathroom door. We had to check out a day earlier because of a family emergency. They would not offer a refund for that night. The website pictures were definitely deceptive. However the desk person was nice.

Staff (Joyce) was wonderful and friendly and quick. Place was very clean, spacious, lovely views, conveniently located, pretty, comfortable, and updated. IF I had anything to change: power outlets nearer to beds. It needs shelf space in bathroom. Use unscented laundry detergent instead....smell was very strong, but not a bad one... just strong. It was a great place!

We love the Sea Witch. Haven't been in years and some of the updates were nicely done. Still a motel but nice. Window AC unit works well but is LOUD. Rooms are humid but tolerable like most beachy hotel/motels tend to be. Pool could use a total overhaul and the water was way too warm for how hot it was. Lots of smokers at the pool which sucks.
