And a small hand library in the living room promises good reading on interesting and vital topics. On request you can get fresh bread, milk or your newspaper. You will find a cozy restaurant, a small café and a supermarket directly opposite. And at least as important: Enjoy the numerous cultural offers in the area, do something for your health, e.g. B. in the Körse-Therme Kirschau, which can be reached in just three minutes by car, visit Bautzen, Görlitz or Löbau, the Zittau Mountains, the insider tips in the much underestimated lignite region or the Sorbian cultural region and of course our Dresden and the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. A tour of the wine distillery with the well-known “World Exhibition barrel” and a tasting is also very worthwhile. Whatever you choose - our apartment in the traditional Wilthener brandy villa is the best starting point for your explorations. The villa itself was built in 1913 for Fritz Hünlich's brandy heirs on the occasion of his wedding. In its first decades it was the Hünlich family home and the venue for important social events. For example, the airship "Sachsen" 's first Zeppelin flight with the Hünlichs led over the property. In GDR times, the house was a kindergarten and doctor's office before it was taken over by musician legend Adolf Kiertscher in 2008. And if you are very attentive, then you will meet him - our pumpkin hat - the legend master of Upper Lusatia and the patron saint of our city. We look forward to seeing you here in Wilthen - it's worth it! Family Kristin & Michel Hille
