"Excellent place to stay, quiet, very clean, everything you need, easy parking and superb food ( best breakfast ever - such a choice ). Only concern was no staff are on site between 11:00 and 15:00 - the birthday flowers I'd ordered couldnt be delivered. Overall we really enjoyed this stay "

"We have just returned from a four night stay at the New Inn, Winchelsea and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It's located right in the centre of the village and parking at the premises was never a problem. The landlord and landlady are a lovely couple and their staff are very pleasant and welcoming. Our accommodation was excellent. The room was extremely clean with fresh linen and towels everyday. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom well stocked. Unlike some places I have stayed in, hot water for showering etc was available at all times. We had an early dinner at the inn on two occasions and the food was excellent, very tasteful, fresh ingredients and well cooked. The complimentary breakfast was cooked to order and provided a great and filling start to the day. The inn has a beer garden and food can be taken outside if desired . The place is well located to use as a base for exploring the local area and we hope to enjoy the hospitality again soon. I recommend this place for a relaxing break. Andrew McIntyre"

"Very pleased with the accommodation, had never been to winchelsea before but loved where the house was. Proper old building with creaky floors and doors which we loved. The host had left a basket of lovely goodies for us and there was everything we needed. Great garden to sit in too. "
