Finally, a people friendly hotel!
We chose this hotel specifically because it was not pet friendly. I am allergic to pets and some of the cleaners they use afterwards. In the past when we have stayed at hotels with pets, my husband always winds up with flea bites. This time we had a clean room, quiet, and no problems associated with pets. The breakfast was also excellent.

After driving for 12 hours with w children under age 3, the staff was over the top nice. The room was clean and we might look into where they bought those beds because my back didnt hurt in the morning. I highly recommend.

The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and our room had everything we needed in terms of space. I booked the room based on a review that said the beds were comfortable. That was not the case. Both my husband and I were uncomfortable for a good part of the night and woke up sore. Our kids thought they were fine and they loved the pool and hot tub.

Definitely not a favorite experience. Our refrigerator didn’t work and the staff didn’t even do anything about it. They allowed us to put our stuff their kitchen fridge but threw it out before we got down to get it the next morning. It was only 8am when we went downstairs. They told us they didn’t know and they had to throw it out. A blonde who appeared to be on some kind of upper was scrambling all over the place and said she would check out the fridge. She said it worked. We put our stuff in there and left for the day. When we got back to the room, the fridge was not up to temp again and we had to throw out the things we had put in there. No one had bothered to resolve this in any way. They just throw their hands up in the air and say they don’t know what to do. The air conditioner is ridiculously loud and makes this very high pitched sound so you can’t fall asleep without earbuds or something in your ears. A bed was placed directly in front of the AC so the room didn’t ever get to a comfortable temp. It’s very hot this summer and having to be uncomfortable where you are paying to lay your head down is exactly what we were looking forward to doing. I’m highly disappointed. We will never ever go back to this hotel. I mistakenly booked a room there instead of the other Holiday Inn in Winchester, Va. I’m so disgusted with the way we were dismissed. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional.
