Great hotel. Close to everything!
I would definitely stay here again. Hard to leave. I gave it a 4 star, I could easily give it 5. The only drawback was a long walk to the room. Nice breakfast, with a wonderful view of the Thames. Let's call it a 4.8*

I have stayed here a couple of times in the past and have been in the annex across the square. This time we were in the main building. There are lots of steps, twists and turns to reach the room,, which was tired and and in need of renovation. The breakfast used to include a buffet, plus a cook to order meal. Now it is just a buffet, and not as good as other hotels in this price category

Rooms are beautiful, hotel is lovely, breakfast is good, and location is perfect. Adjacent to train station and two blocks from Windsor Castle. Service was poor. We received very poor advice concerning the time required for a car to central London, and very limited assistance when we asked for restaurant recommendations. We would likely stay there again, but we would not rely on staff for assistance beyond basic hotel service. The hotel needs to invest in training for staff. They were quite pleasant; just not trained for the work in a hotel of this sort.

Older property with a lot of stairs to get from room to the lobby. Squeaky floors. But clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Wonder time in Windsor
It was a great experience staying here. The staff was great and the food was amazing at the restaurant. The only problem I experienced was the stairs. I hurt my knee and it was a little painful having to walk up them. Other than that it was wonderful. Beautiful view in the restaurant of the river.

So Charming! We only stayed overnight before flying home from Heathrow Airport early the next morning. We have plans already to come back for two nights to tour Windsor Castle and other sites. The staff was so helpful, the room was spacious and clean. So many restaurants to choose from to eat at in the area, lots of shops.

An absolutely beautiful classic hotel. It was like stepping back in time into a property that truely appreciated your staying with them. There are a number of sitting rooms & the breakfast was of the highest quality. The room was modern & very comfortable. The staff was most accommodating, especially with helping with our luggage as there are alot of stairs to deal with. The hotel is conveniently located very near toWindsor Castle & the city.

The rooms were quite large, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was security at all times and it was gated. We felt extremely safe with these precautions, and the area is already pretty safe as is. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.
