There was much construction in the area which made it harder to navigate. The waterfront walk area is lovely and the view of Detroit is great. However the hotel business section doesn't work- 2 computers that don't work. There seems to be confusion about what is included- as in- I thought breakfast and parking were included but they were not. Parking lot is BEHIND the hotel and with street closures it is challenging to get in and out of.

It was a great place to stay, close to many things to do. Walking around the riverfront was so nice and peaceful. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Top quality hotel to stay at.

The property seems to be newly renovated and is beautiful from inside. The room was clean, staff was friendly and waterfront views were amazing. Couple minor downsides: there's no indoor parking at the building itself so you have to park the car in another building. Also, there's very limited space in the front of the hotel making it hard to stop for unloading/loading.

We had a lot of band gear in our car, and I had some concerns about the security of the building parking lot after reading a few other reviews. We took our valuables into our room, and were told by hotel staff not to leave valuables visible on car seats. Everything turned out ok. 👍 Front staff were kind, courteous, and offered to store our valuables in the front desk office. Also free cookies! Room was spotless.
