This was our first hotel on a two week vacation in the UK and by far the best place we stayed. Steps away from everything you'd want to see in Windsor including the castle. The staff is wonderful and really take great care of their guests. Make sure to include breakfast in your plans, you won't regret it. I hope we get to stay here again!

Lovely hotel, very clean and luxurious. Staff are all helpful and friendly. Service top tier. The only things that let it down is the breakfast, on the website they advertise they serve a high quality breakfast, but in reality they have an average style buffet and no black pudding. The restaurant is also very dark. Also they charge a very high charge to use their carpark, there are a few in town that charge less. However it was a very nice stay and I would definitely book another McDonald hotel

Nice hotel conveniently located across street from Windsor Castle and a selection of pubs and walking street with shops including M&S store and grocery. Hallways and rooms need brighter lights. Room area was quiet. Has large walk-in showers. Restaurant and bar could offer promotions for guests to compete with other venues. Very good porterage staff. Outside, the street needs brighter lighting at night and there’s been ongoing construction for months on adjacent buildings. Palace changing of guard parade goes by front door.

High five to Manager Michael!
There was a loud musical thumping in a building nearby. Manager Michael came to my room to get me to show an available room to me. I mentioned I was so looking forward to soaking in the big beautiful tub. The room I was to be moved to didn't have a tub. Michael said I could enjoy the tub in my previous room, then call him and he would come move me to the other room, away from the noise. He went above and beyond! Cheers! I thought the hotel was a great location and good value. I wish all hotels were as nice and accommodating as this one was. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Not to mention how beautiful the Windsor are is overall. I want to return and explore more.

I would have given this hotel 5 ⭐️ but the neighbouring hotel The Windsor holds events in an outdoor venue which run quite late. Where our hotel room was located, we could hear the music until midnight. Thank goodness our 2nd night was quiet and we were able to have a great long sleep prior to our 9.5 hour flight
