Unpleasant
This place looks great on paper and I don’t know Windsor well so didn’t know what kind of neighbourhood it was in. It’s a tiny house behind a bustling, which means you squeeze past overflowing garbage cans to get to it. Not a great start. It’s obviously been renovated and looks nice but the couch was uncomfortable. We didn’t try the beds because we moved out just over an hour after we arrived. Thankfully another spot was available in a better neighbourhood. My daughter is autistic and we’re both sensitive to smells. It’s obvious that the house had been smoked in and the owner had tried to cover it up. It still smelled smoky and musty.
I reached out to the host with my concerns but got no response other than automatic “checking in” and “tomorrow is check out” messages. I couldn’t get a refund because it was less than 30 days since the booking, which is a pretty strict policy for such a poor property.
Would not recommend.
