Loved how large rooms and/or suites were compared to others in Winnepeg! We were able to have 2x the square footage and privacy from our kids for the same cist as a double queen. Did not like that our room wondows overlooked indoors.

This is a nice hotel. The staff was great. The problem with the room was the "Air Conditioner" was not working. With this room being a south-facing room with two large windows when we arrived the room was HOT. We turned the air conditioner down and left the room for 5 hours. When we returned, the room had only dropped one degree. Contact the front desk. They sent maintenance, that got the air conditioner working a little bit. They also, supplied three fans that helped. The staff was great! This facility needs a little work.

The pool area was the best part of the stay. It was fun for the kids! An older hotel which is starting to show its age in the rooms. They are dated. There had clearly been some sort of water damage in the hotel is there was wfs dehumidifiers along the 2nd floor hallway leading to a musty smell in hallway and rooms. Common areas near check-in and restaurant are quite clean. Our car was broken into directly in front of hotel and no one "security" or desk staff seemed to have any idea about it. Wouldn't stay again. Sorry 😔

The staff were above par! Very helpful front desk staff. The waitress in Aaltos(Tiffany) was very happy and was an excellent server. The pool area and clean and safe and very easy to get to and use. The Tavern attached to the hotel had a wonderful patio and was enjoyable to use.

Staff was ok but the room! The floor seemed like there was a flood, damp carpet in our room, humidifiers everywhere, our bathroom door would get stuck on the tile floor and was very loud, bedroom suite door was very squeaky and sofa bed was full of crumbs in corners and was soooo loud creaking it sounded like it was going to break. That room made trying not to wake a baby very difficult.and the coffee machines were awful. Room needs some serious general maintenance. The bed mattress was like a hammock. We are very sore from sleeping on it for 3 nights.
