Hotel is nothing like the pictures, it’s very dirty, it stinks, have to run shower for half an hour for it to warm up, beds are uncomfortable and feel the springs, and no alarm clock! Horrible stay horrible staff. Would not recommend!!

When we checked into the king, the room was very nice. The downside was it was facing the pool so it was really load with kids screaming and bed was completely sunk in the middle, how that even passed inspection from a supervisor is beyond me. So after a day of travelling, it was disappointing to get there and have that room. Thankfully The guy at the front desk who was working the evening shift was extremely accommodating and moved us rooms. That room was large, still very nice but was very loud, almost like an echo when you spoke. Plus it over looked a busy road so it was extremely noisy all night as well. The bed was very very hard. Both my husband and I had sore backs when we woke up in the morning. It was like sleeping in cement. We have stayed here many times over the years, this being the first time since Covid, and have never had any issues before. So a bit disappointing. The brunch served on second floor was good. Staff were polite and friendly. Not sure if we would return in the future for the price I paid and the discomfort.

The bed was old and lumpy. The bathroom fan was moldy and dusty, the toilet was leaking so it ran all night. We tried to have a friend come up for drinks as we were visiting the city and they don’t let visitors in after 11pm and were quite rude about us trying to bring our friend in. We were quiet and respectful but we are a young couple who live outside the city so finding time to see our friends is a juggle. The pool area is awesome for an older hotel. The slide is lots of fun, the pool water is a very comfortable temperature. This is a great spot for a young family or even young couples just looking for a getaway but maybe splurge for a better room? I’m not sure. The evening staff seemed grouchy/tired but the day staff were lovely.

It's been many years since I stayed here. I forgot to ask for the south-east side as anywhere else is quite noisy with the fire station across the street. It was really disappointing to not be able to get a dinner meal without going into the tavern - neither of us drink nor care to, and we also don't like the noise of loud drinkers. We ended up asking the gal behind the bar to get our meals to go and took them up to our room. It would have been nice to have had a little table that we could both sit at to eat or put our food. One of us used the foot stool and the other used the heating unit. We couldn't both fit at the desk in the room.

Nice mini break.
Nice having a restaurant and lounge on site. Another plus....next to Red Lobster and Olive Garden. Polo park mall is across the street. Jets game was a 15 dollar cab ride or dame for Uber.

The front desk personal in the evening when I checked in and when I left in the morning were very helpful and informative. I ordered room service and the lounge worker Robin was also very helpful and kind. I stayed in a king size bed room which was huge however the electrical outlets need to be updated to accommodate USB function. The room was a little dated but very clean.

The hallways were filthy room was not very clean windows were all full of fingerprints, bathroom was old and not clean, there was a hanger under the sheets in one of the beds, fridge and microwave were dirty and all lopsided

There is mold on our hotel room windows, from our hotel we can see old dirty, bloody mattresses, that are stored behind the pool, our room also smells musty. There is no water pressure coming from the shower either. Check in was alright tho.

Starting to be run down
The hotels quality is very run down, it was however very clean, but door handles were off kilter, with a big hole around the handle for the bathroom. Bed was very uncomfortable and caved in the middle, very springy. When I rent a hotel I want a comfortable bed, the rest doesn’t really matter, for that reason alone I will not be going back. The hot tub jets were mostly all plugged and only 3 out of the 7-8 were working. But at least it was very clean
