The Space:
Retreat to the tranquility of Fawn Creek Cabin, nestled in the woods of the Edelweiss community. This secluded getaway offers stunning vistas of Lucky Jim's Bluff and the Methow Valley. A hallway guides you into the open kitchen and dining area, ideal for preparing and enjoying home-cooked meals. Adjacent to the dining area, the cozy living room welcomes you with a wood-burning stove, creating a warm ambiance for quiet evenings indoors.

The cabin sleeps 6 guests in three bedrooms, and an additional hide-a-bed in the living room. Upstairs, find the primary bedroom with a queen-sized bed, and a second bedroom with bunk bed. On the lower level, there is an additional bedroom with a queen-sized bed.

Very clean, well stocked, and cozy cabin. The road to the cabin can be difficult without all wheel drive if there is snow.

Nice Fall Weekend
Wonderful cabin with a nice view from the back deck of the kitchen. Wood stove worked wonderfully and was great ambiance. Its a cozy place, but felt spacious. We had our 45 LB cattle dog and it was nice we could close the back deck gate so she could hang with us and not worry she'd go exploring. Really a great place.

Family Vacation
We had a great stay at this cabin for our visit to North Cascades National Park. We knew that we’d have a drive to get to some of the hikes we did (Thunder Knob, Thunder Creek, Cutthroat Lake) but the drive is beautiful and we felt like this was a good location. The cabin had everything we needed, was very clean and neat, and has amazing views. If you have a clear night, go on the deck and look at the stars!! The Mazama Public House was very close, has awesome beer and wine, and delicious food. The Mazama Store is great also, groceries and gifts. Stop by in the morning for pastries, coffee, and delicious sandwiches to go for lunch. Overall a great stay!

Nice tucked away cabin, cozy but needs a little TLC to make perfect.
Great place to recharge batteries internally. Roads were a little dicey due to slushy snow. The furniture was not too comfortable and the upstairs heat unit didn’t work. Still it was nice to have a warm dry place to come back to each day. Thanks

A delightful experience!
The cabin was air-conditioned which was a HUGE plus since the temperatures soared over 100 degrees F. The entire cabin was clean and easy to access. The wifi worked and we were able to stream videos in the evening. The laundry facilities were great. The kitchen was well organized and the dining area was big enough for the four of us. The cabin made it possible for us to have a lot of fun! The only cabin difficulties were the lack of a shower in the second floor bathroom and the need to drive to the property manager several miles from the cabin to get and drop off the keys.

Nice Location Close to Mazama Trailheads
We enjoyed our stay. Nice kitchen with all the amenities we needed. Beds were comfortable. View was lovely. We enjoyed the wood stove after a day of cross-country skiing. Definitely need an AWD vehicle in the winter to access the roads especially with new snow. The only negative was having to pick up and drop off the house key at the Mazama Inn rather than having a passcode at the house. Otherwise, no real issues.

Clean and neat
Wonderful spot in the Edelweiss Development, situated east of Mazama. Great walking/biking/cross-country skiing trails nearby. The folks managing the property for the owners are professionals and eager to help. The place is very clean, lots of basic staples in the cupboard, so no need to bring salt and pepper. There is even a Bluetooth speaker for your mp3s. The coyotes can be heard at night, but not much else; neighbors are quiet if there at all. Considering we come from Lopez Island in the San Juans, Winthrop and Mazama are pretty "citified" for us but for folks from the big city, this is probably considered the wilderness. We would guess that for people who buy the latest Porsche SUV to show off on Mercer Island, the last mile to the cabin may be the first time you actually use four-wheel drive if there is a lot of snow. In a few words? We hope to return.

Fawn Creek Cabin
We had a lovely stay at Fawn Creek Cabin to use as our base camp for hiking and biking. We rented fat-tired bikes in Mazama and rode on the Community Trail one day and hiked the Cutthroat Pass trail the other day. Lots of nearby hikes to choose from! This cabin is spacious, clean, and very well stocked, especially the kitchen. It was nice sitting out on the deck reading and gazing at the hills. Highly recommended!
