Hotel looks like it is not maintained well. Dirty windows throughout hotel. Room was dusty on floors and beds squeaked with every movement Towels looked like they were not cleaned and had to ask for washcloths which were not in room when we arrived.

I regret to say that during my stay some property of mine disappeared from the room me and my partner were staying in. I brought this up with the front desk, and they assured me that none of their staff were on the same floor that day. They checked security cameras and insisted that no one got into my room, which I find difficult to believe given my missing property. Additionally, I need to talk about communication and general cleanliness. The hotel was lacking in housekeepers, so that if we wanted our room cleaned, we would have needed to inform the front desk. This fact was never made clear to us: no one mentioned it at the front desk, and there were no signs anywhere indicating this. We were only made aware of this when we were checking out. Consequently, we spent four days in the hotel waiting for housekeeping to attend to our room, which never appeared. I would not stay here again, nor would I advise others to.

This place is very nice as is the restaurant attached Breakfast was good Although the music coming from the banquet area was a bit load it did end at 10pm Thought they could have put us in a room away from it !!

Easy check in. Room was clean, comfy beds. Micro and refrig in room. Pool and hot tub were older, but clean. Mikes Italian restaurant was busy and like any other restaurant was understaffed. But the people working were so nice! Our waitress was Anya- what a sweetheart! We enjoyed a huge 16 " pizza. It was excellant! I would highly recomend this restaurant- just bring your patients. Baraboo is a sweet little community- quiet in fall. Devils Lake is 15 minutes away and a walk on one of their trails is a must!

Don’t stay here
Blood stains on blanket on one bed and on sheets on the other bed. Phone did not work. Kleenex box was empty and when asked never received any. Numerous outlets not working. And biggest of all, there was a ginormous wasp in the room and when our friends when to front desk, front desk gave them a fly swatter and said they could try and kill it or we could move rooms. Shame on them for that. They should have sent someone to take care of it.

This place gave me the Hibbie Jibbies when we arrived. The room smelt like old cigarettes, the wall looked like it had spit on it and the carpet was yucky. Not to mention our bed sheet had a cigarette burn it in. There’s a banquet hall here so be prepared that you might have a wild crowd Saturday night like we did. There was many puke piles in the parking lot the next morning and we saw someone peeing in the lot right next to our vehicle from the party. The check in staff was nice and the night associate at the desk was also. Our checkout guy didn’t say anything but “k thanks” Overall we won’t be staying here again. I just wanted to get outta here and get home.

The property is easily accessible; room was spacious. However, there were blood stains on the mattress and pillow covers. I stayed 5 nights and my room was never checked to empty trash, refresh towels or refill coffee packets. When I complained to reception about the dirty sheets, she did not seem surprised (recurring problem maybe?), said housekeeping staff had gone home but could put clean sheets in my room. I had to change them myself, No offer of help from her. Free breakfast needs improvement - scrambled eggs the consistancy of potato salad and grey looking, poor coffee, few healthy options. Weight room had become a store room so don't count on it. Will not stay there again.

front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. we did not have any washcloths in the bathroom and the pools area was very overheated and over chlorinated. breakfast was ok, nothing special.
