Disliked: Room comfort
Good location, very average apartment
The communication with the hosts was smooth and efficient. The apartment was reasonably clean, and its location was fantastic—most major attractions were within walking distance, and there were plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. For anyone looking to explore Warsaw on foot, this is definitely a convenient base.
Unfortunately, the positives were overshadowed by several drawbacks. First, the apartment was hard to locate, which could be frustrating for travelers unfamiliar with the area. The interior felt extremely basic and lacked thoughtful touches. For example, there were no proper glasses, only coffee mugs, and no dish towel provided. The curtains in the bedroom are far too narrow, so that they do not close completely and it is always light in the room. If you need darkness to sleep, you should be careful here. The biggest letdown, however, was the bedding situation. Despite booking for two beds (or at least a prepared sofa), the extra bed wasn’t ready, leaving us to rummage through closets to find and assemble our own bedding. This is not something a guest should have to do, especially when faced with what’s underneath pillow/duvet covers.
Additionally, we were given only one towel per person for the entire stay, which felt insufficient. The bathtub plug had been removed, likely to discourage bathing, which came across as unnecessarily restrictive. The included breakfast was average—acceptable but not remarkable.
