The grounds had bottles, cans and other trash in the parking lot. The shower in the room had no light, which is probably a good thing so you couldn’t see what was in there. Highly doubt those sheets had been changed. Smelled like curry anyplace inside the hotel. Never stay here.

Bad smell
There was a terrible terrible smell in the rooms, like wet animals. We originally checked in and immediately had to switch rooms the smell was so bad. Unfortunately, the next room was only a bit better. It is clear that no care is taken in thoroughly cleaning these rooms. There should be pet only rooms so that the smell is isolated to people with pets. After breakfast, we were locked out of our room and the maid couldn’t get it open. The manger came, begrudgingly, and pushed and pulled the door until it finally opened. This is not very safe or convenient to say the least. This is not the first time they have heard this complaint so the obviously do not care enough to thoroughly clean the rooms.

THE ROOM WAS TERRIBLE. SMELL IN LOBBY WHEN YOU FIRST WALK IN JUST THOUGHT MAYBE IT WAS COMING FROM OUTSIDE. THE SHOWER WAS DIRTY AND HAD BUGS IN IT. THE TOLIET WOULD NOT STOP RUNNING. THE DOOR TO THE ROOM WAS BROKE AND YOU HAD TO MAN HANDLE IT TO OPEN OR CLOSE IT. VERY UNSAFE. AFTER WE CHECKED IN WITHIN 1 HOUR WE COMPLAINED TO THE FRONT DESK WHO CALL THE MANAGER TO TELL THEM WE NEEDED TO CHECK OUT BECAUSE OF THE UNSAFE CONDITIONS AND THEY WOULD NOT REFUND OUR MONEY. WE WENT BACK AND FORTH WITH THEM FOR HOURS WITH NO SATIFACTION FROM THEM. I BOOKED WITH EXPEDIA AND THEY WOULD NOT HELP US EITHER. SO I ENDED UP PAYING FOR A NIGHT STAY HERE AND STILL HAD TO GO TO ANOTHER HOTEL TO STAY. OTHER PEOPLE CHECKED IN AT SAME TIME AND THEY ALSO HAD ISSUES. THEIR ROOMS STUNK JUST LIKE OURS. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

Surprisingly good!
It exceeded our expectations for the cost. We were particularly impressed by the tasty and abundant breakfast. The coffee was even good...a rarity in hotel breakfasts.

My opinion, probably the best option in Woodstock for the price. Hotel lobby and rooms very clean. Room was spacious with mini fridge. Big closet with an iron, which was nice to have. Breakfast was included with very good selection. Overall, no complaints.

Rooms are better than two years ago but the landscaping and parking is not very good. Staff was polite but did it speak English very well. The place has no ambience at all

I notified the front desk that the shower drain is plugged and was afraid that water would spill over the basin. They said it would be taken care of. It wasn't and when I went back the next day to mention it again, the person behind the counter just came out with a toilet plunger and told me to fix it myself. Very poor English. Also, many ants and other bugs were in the breakfast counter and floor.

Although the room was clean, it reeked of cigar smoke. The pillows were substandard, the shower grout was filthy, the washroom in the lobby toilet was broken. And no toilet paper.
