"Great time in a Beautiful Inn. Staff very accommodating. Great location. Nice and quiet if thats what your looking for. They have a pub but not opened yet. Will be nice when that happens. Heard rumors that they want to go in the direction of contactless everything, I hope not, if i wanted to stay at a hotel i would have. If i pick a B&B or Inn i expect a personal feel. Please dont lose that."

"This hotel was fantastic! I will say, the hot tub was a warm tub so I wish that was a bit hotter but it was fantastic after a day of skiing. The happy hour with the bartender was so fun and the breakfast was perfection. The beds are comfortable and we just loved everything!"

Our only disappointment was in not being able to use the fireplace which was mentioned as one of the amenities of the house. "

"I thought The Shire was great!. Very clean. Friendly staff. Great coffee. Quiet. Walking distance to town. This is a motel like set up. No restaurant but plenty around and a grocery store across the street. Rugs in rooms. I don’t like that but they were very clean. Excellent shampoo, high quality body cream that smelled great! Nice touch! "
