Pleasant stay
This was a quick overnight stop on our way somewhere else. There are several other options in the area, but we chose this one because of the excellent reviews. The room was very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was better than average and we appreciated real plates and silverware. There are several dinner areas nearby. I probably wouldn’t stay here again though, because it is much more expensive than others in the area; and then they added a $5 parking fee as well. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed our overnight, but will try somewhere else next time.

Too hot and that motion sensor kept changing the thermostat setting. With a medical condition, management needs to be able to turn the motion sensor off

This Holiday Inn seems quite new and clean and has one of the best breakfasts for this class of hotel that we've encountered. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not so good in our room - bathroom fan is noisy and always comes on with the light, toilet flush is loud enough to wake anyone trying to sleep, and shower squeals loudly when switching water from tub to shower head. Security lights are angled so that they shine into the room (on the 3re floor) and are quite blinding and keep the room bright all night even with blackout shade pulled down. Also, the hotel charges $5.00 for parking even though it's a mystery how anyone could reach the hotel without a car.

Nice brand new property. Very clean. Comfortable bed, all the amenities in a really nice hotel. Room layout is great also. The only con is thin walls and ceilings. I could hear the neighbors TV and people walking around upstairs. Not sure if they had the TV on full blast and/or the people upstairs were giants, but other than that - I'd stay there again for sure.
