The house was easy to find on a quiet street. Beach access was a 1 minute walk from the house, and the next best thing from direct access from the house itself! We love Yachats, and this feels far enough removed that it's private, but close enough for easy trips for a meal in town.
GOOD:
- the view: so good!
- hot tub: amazing, clean, and the gazebo made hot tubbing in cool late November weather comfortable. We loved hot tubbing in the evenings after a long day enjoying the beach
- kitchen: modern, open concept, had all the pots, pans, etc we needed, dishwasher (no hand washing on vacation!)
- beds were comfy, and plenty of linens, etc.
-mud room with washer and dryer was fantastic for removing wet sandy clothes, having dog water bowls, and leaving shoes
CONSIDERATIONS:
- Yard was not fully fenced. There were posts, so it seems like fully fencing is the plan, but it was not fenced, and made letting our dogs out more of an event than we anticipated
- Dining table is nice, but bar- stool height. This was fine, but we had a wiggly toddler with us, and we had to watch closely during meals
- Smell: Pet friendly location is amazing, and those are hard to find... but definitely smelled like dog in the livingroom :)
WiFi: WiFi cut out quite a lot. If you're planning on working at all, or need a stable internet connection, this might be an issue (this helped us unplug!)
Overall, it was a great stay!
