We stayed there for four nights in total throughout our holiday in Myanmar. We found it a good standard of hotel. Bright and clean and facilities were good
I have stayed in this hotel since 2006. Hotel is now aging. Except of the limited choice for rooms and beds, the rest of the areas are still excellent. It will be better if Buffet Breakfast has different items menu in different days.
Horrible time - the breakfast was disgusting - very little to offer anyone with a western taste. The Internet was mostly not working. The elevators have etched graffiti and 2 hanging wires . The walls and air conditioning unit are yellow - highly likely this hotel had only recently become none smoking...at $50 a night there are many better hotels in the area - just wish I had checked a little harder- the photos on hotels.com hide what is a genuine poorly managed and maintained hotel
I have stayed at this hotel since 2006.
Location, service, food, and all others things are great.
I have found nothing to see bad thins.
I fully recommend others to stay there.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
There are better options close by.
Good location but the Panda is an older hotel needs refurbishment (especially bathroom). At $100 a night I do not feel that this hotel was a good value. The hotel appeared to be geared to tour groups and budget business travelers. The best thing that I can say about the Panda is that there is a super restaurant--Shan Yar Yoe--nearby.
The previous week my wife and I spent six nights at the nearby Taw Win Hotel; the rate was $50 more per night, but the Taw Win was new and EXCEPTIONALLY NICE--great staff, beautiful, spacious rooms, several very good in-hotel restaurant choices, extensive, high quality breakfast buffet. The Taw Win was five stars and a great value; the Panda was two stars at best and a poor value.
As always, the hotel is very clean and hotel staff are very nice and sweet.
Because of their great hospitality, we have stayed in this hotel since 2005.
We fully recommend to others.
Nice clean hotel near to many attractions, golden pagoda, Scott's market and a couple of shopping malls. Hotel staff friendly and helpful and are geared up to answer any questions. Breakfast was fine but the coffee was fab. The room I had on 2 seperate occasions was good enough for me and I was very happy with my stay.

Panda Hotel
Simple room, great service, was expecting worst but overall acceptable. Kitchen is open for 24hrs.
Staff here are very friendly and always ready to help. It's well located in a quiet area but close to downtown and taxis are very cheap and always available. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The beds are comfortable but the pillows a bit on the big side for me. There is a good buffet breakfast with a wide range of food.

Not Bad
Not a bad hotel for Yangon but for the price you can do a lot better in a more central location. Still clean and very friendly, helpful staff.
We had the Panda suite which had great views. However, the extra room was pretty useless. It had a large leather couch in it and a refrigerator, but no extra bed and no TV. the breakfast was okay, but the meals otherwise not recommended. We ate their twice in the evening because there's not much else around. On separate occasions we were both sick after the meal!

Good basic hotel in reasonably central location.
Arrived at the hotel & there was a power cut while the generator didn't work. So walked up 11 flights of stairs to my room. Good room and very clean. Whole floor non-smoking.
Breakfast was basic.
Eating is not convenient exept for breakfast. Breakfast is morethan enough.
