My Air Canada flight from Toronto was cancelled due to mechanical issues and I called Chateau Nova to ask for cancellation of my first nights stay, they would not cancel my reservation. I have several bookings that I will now change hotels.

Great facility, has everything we could need to be comfortable Fair warning, walls are pretty thin. They do have shuttle service to the airport. However the one scheduled in the early morning did not come, but the hotel gave us a voucher to have a taxi sending us to the airport.

The staff hardly speaks English, they know nothing about Yellowknife or care to know. The gim had an AC full blast with freezing temperatures outside (we where there 4 days from the 8th till the 12 of October) Also both the sauna and steam bath were both out of order, but they advertise them in the pictures as a great future of the hotel. We travel often and other than nice halls to the rooms the hotel gets one star, mostly because of the untrained staff with poor English and poorer service attitude!!! Even the manager failed to solve the gim issue !!!!

Comfortable stay in Yellowknife
This hotel is very clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. We stayed in a spacious 1 bedroom apartment which was comfortable and great for spreading out. Airport shuttle was very helpful, lounge is large and restaurant is good.
